Kazuya Arikawa, a businessman, runs multiple companies at the age of 52 and is actively working. However, his eldest daughter, Toshie, abandoned her college entrance due to a disease in her chest, when she was in her third year of high school. Soon, Toshie meets Yoichi, who asks her father for work. Soon, the two of them fall in love, and get married. However, it quickly turns out that her parents are against the woman's marriage, and things get even more complicated when Toshie has a recurrence of cancer in the form of breast cancer.
