Takara-kun to Amagi-kun Episode 1
Despite his cold and arrogant appearance, Takara is one of the most popular guys in Fujimine High and often receives a number of confessions from the girls around him to which he shows little or no interest. One day as Takara and Amagi, a peer of his who he's barely had an interaction with, are assigned to weed the campus grounds, Amagi accidentally slips out his confession to Takara to which Takara surprisingly agrees to date Amagi. However, this supposed relationship between the two is off to a rocky start as Takara's apparent lack of affection and recognition for Amagi has left the latter feeling rather sad and confused.

Takara-kun to Amagi-kun Episode 1 Reactions
What a confusing start into a new show. I am just..confused. :'D I don't really understand when the "break up" happened or why Takara was distanced "because he liked him"? Timeline is really confusing so far. But I like the characters and the friend groups. It's pretty funny. I also like both leads. Amagi is so freaking cute! And Takara is definitely pretty cool with his calm personality.

interesting & glad i pushed through, cause all the "drama" & angst at the start, without context wasn't doing it for me. neither was the back & forth, was all this happening on the day of the confession?! a week after? a month?!? what was the time line... where after X amount of time Amagi felt, Takara was just playing with his feelings & he felt the need to put a stop to what didn't even start?! & we got that break-up scene at the start. **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************thankfully the rest was fun & light, the friend groups & their interaction with the mains helped me push-through to the end, let alone want to see more. that was funny especially Amagi's bff's - they such a mood ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************maybe this is "laid out" better in the adaptation, but here IMHO the 1st ep was a bit of a mess. hope this get's better plot (logically) progression wise

It's very dream-like. I enjoy this first episode more than I do most first episodes. I like that we can hear both of the main characters thoughts. I also enjoy the blonde main character's personality.

Totally kawaii...both the characters complement each other so well...one overly popular but hating the attention secretly...the other in the quiet group but of a bright personality that attracts only the one who gets him...can dating be really this simple?

Finde den Aufbau der Serie total schön, mal was ganz anderes, Schon in der ersten Folge sind die Fronten mehr oder weniger geklärt und auch die Sprünge in den Zeiten fand ich sehr gut. Bin sehr gespannt wo das Ganze noch hinführt

Great start!Love the mls. Already weget the tension betweenthe two. It’sset in a school but doesnot seem stale. It seemsnatural. How these twooppositesdeal witheach otherfeels exciting.

I adored this intro to the show. Showing both POVs of the relationship between the main lead is something I'm really enjoying and hope they continue through the rest of the episodes.
