Welcome to my profile! I go by Stella, I'm 20, and I have a lot of different hobbies, including dramas. Some of my interests include movies, dramas, anime, manga, crocheting, drawing, kpop/krock, jrock, Taylor Swift, reading (especially translated works), gaming (I mainly play cozy games but I also enjoy games like Yakuza and Octopath Traveler). Not really a hobby, but I love anything to do with space and the universe. When it comes to dramas, I will watch dramas from any country but my favorite countries for dramas are

1. Japan 2. Taiwan 3. Thailand 4. Korea

I have not yet watched any dramas from China, Hong Kong, or the Philippines, however I plan to at some point! I got into dramas in 2020 but I knew about them before. The first two dramas I tried watching were Life of the Married and Flower of Evil, but I never ended up finishing them. The first drama I finished was Squid Game which was only because my mom enjoyed it, I wasn't a big fan. I got into dramas through K-dramas. I discovered J-dramas in 2021 but I don't think I actually watched one until 2022. My first Japanese drama was Cherry Magic! I discovered BL's in 2022. My first BL was Secret Crush on You.

LIKES

amnesia, first love, right person wrong time, time travel/time loops, fluffy romance, stories with characters overcoming insecurities, mental health awareness, lgbtq+ characters, forced cohabitation (because of fake marriage or unexpected living arrangements), tragic stories, episodic dramas that still have a connected story between episodes, references to philosophy such as reincarnation, music in any way, jealous/protective love interests (not in a red flag kind of way), plot twists, anything that makes me cry, relatable main characters, believable chemistry

Dislikes

overly sexual, overly violent, love triangles when one love interest is lead on by the lead, shows with plotlines that move too fast (most common in action/adventure shows but can happen in romances as well), breaking up and getting back together over and over again due to misunderstandings, short shows that have little to no plot, a character who's interested in one of the leads and tries to break up/get in between the couple
