The Zone 2.0

I don't have high hopes for this new season given how confused I am with Season 1 but I guess Season 2's a charm. I thought it just started off good on the 1st episode but as I watched through them, Season 2 is definitely a revamped version. I love how the episodes/simulations has more structure to it unlike Season 1 where I feel like everything's all over the place.

Aside from us seeing the coward duo face their fears (which is almost everything although the top ones are ghosts and heights), we kind of see them more on a more team-like dynamic. On Season 1, I felt like YuRi is just carrying the team but this Season 2, we start to see them work together (although there's still a lot of bickering here and there) I am not exactly sure what changed but this season is more fun to watch and much more relatable to me.

Now, I am looking forward to Season 3 (if Disney+ still have plans of renewing it) Yoo-Lee duo on variety shows never gets old so I'll always watch out and root for them.

the x zone

the zone is back with season 2 with the original casts, yoo jaesuk, lee kwangsoo and kwon yuri. this season to me, is rather repetitive, it's usually about horror, ghosts, something that is related to jaesuk's and kwangsoo's fear. which i feel like this season has a lot of these... as much as their reaction is fun, it gets annoying.

however, there is something new too, like the moving bed, ddakji, playing detective and more. you can say it is up on a new skill. some parts were funny, some parts were okay.

overall, it is a good watch with family over the weekends!

Hoping for more exciting and interesting seasons in the future

I was so excited when I saw a post about TZ:SM S2 but I guess I expected too much. Comparing it to S1, this one was a bit boring and plain. Sure, the casts did a great job but there were times that their behaviors felt so unrealistic, immature and it looked like they were just trying to be funny (which I understand because this is for entertainment purposes). Moreover, I noticed how immature Yuri was in EP 6, she was trying to provoked/forced Jaesuk and Kwangsoo to cross over the bridge (I also saw Yuri pushed Jaesuk which he did not find it funny), she could've been gentle about it but decided to be unprofessional. If you are an OG fan of Kwangsoo and Jaesuk you would probably understand that these two have fear of heights. It may look like they are overacting sometimes but phobia is not a joke. Hence, I love and respect all the casts and I hope if they decided to release another season, it would be much more and more interesting and different than this one.
