Mo Ning Xi's grandfather passed away and then she was kicked out of the house by her mother in law and went abroad. Six years later, she came back as a well-known fashion designer with her two kids to make things right.
She met her ex-husband again and the story goes on.
The cast is good looking, The ML is handsome and FL is also pretty but had an odd eye make-up that I couldn't get used to until the end.
The acting overall is okay and the leads have chemistry.
The ost is nice.
There is one thing bothered me while watching this drama! That it had so many slow scenes.
If you could turn a blind eye on that, and some incoherent dubbing, you might enjoy watching this drama more than I did.
Anyways ML carried the show for me. I don't dislike the FL but she didn't do much of anything by herself.
The story is quite predictable and has lots of cliche, So I think it's just an okay watch to pass time.
I might re-watch it in future.

Cute Mini - But Choppy
The ML is good. Looking forward to seeing him in more dramas. The FL was okay; however, between makeup, hair or delayed acting it became distracting to watch. The OST was okay. Even the story concept was okay. The description does not match what is being played. The pacing was pretty good. However, I would have preferred really understanding and seeing the textile everyone wanted on full display besides the various board meeting scenes. The villain and her 'helper' became laughable seeing that they had overwhelming accessibility to the main leads even after being discovered time and time again.Was this review helpful to you?

Leads have chemistry but could have been executed better
I understand FL needing a bit of time to get herself together but 6 YEARS. The fact that her son doesn't recognize her is glossed over. Why couldn't she sue for visitation if she loved her kid that much. It also didn't make sense that ML could not see her or his other kids(didn't seem like he was accused of a crime but barred from travelling?)As I mentioned leads have good chemistry even if ML looks too young for role but they should have simply concentrated on interactions with the leads instead of secondary characters especially the FL's sister (cousin?)
They kept letting her stick around with no explanation even after being found guilty.
Watchable but I still used fast fwd button in places

This is a very well done second chance romance and seeking justice miniseries. The main characters did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has great chemistry. There were unlikeable characters that did not act so well and a bit of incoherence due to the nature of the fact that many miniseries lack fluid transition between episodes. The male lead acknowledges that he wronged the female lead at the beginning but the drama is more about how he spent the 6 years separation period, her return seeking justice for herself, working together to unravel the mystery behind her grandfather’s death, and finding a way to reconciliation. Even though there are some times that keeping the antagonist around when they knew she was rotten and going on solo “missions” did not make sense, one must remember that that is the way the plot was written. : ( Overall, the drama is entertaining, enjoy it! Better than many other ones
I was literally raging with anger in the beginning when they showed FL being thrown out having left her kid behind and on top of that she was pregnant and ML just stood there. I was like 'She shouldn't forgive him no matter what'. I hate such shows where ML wrongs FL and she does everything to prove her innocence then runs back to him at the end, I HATE such stories. I thought this story will be the same but the good thing is that they added a scene according to which he always knew where the FL was and what she and their kids are doing in all these 6 years, they gave the reason saying he can't leave the country due to grandpa's case otherwise he wouldn't have abandoned them blah blah so it was bearable to watch, my anger was cooled down a bit lol.... but my point is why he stood like a statue when she was thrown out of the house and when his mom slapped her and she was accused of having an affair, etc, all that time he did nothing, FL didn't immediately run away from the spot, she was there crying begging them to let her meet her son, calling out ML's name and she slowly walked on street heartbroken. after ages, he comes behind running..I was like 'Why the fu*k did you come now, whats the use?'
lts just those same stories you find on YT where ML wrongs FL but ends up together in the end. but this is ML WHITEWASHED version that's it. this, I was able to watch cuz there was no physical abuse or foul language and kids were cute and the leads are eye candy.
