Blossoms in Adversity Episode 1
Hua Zhi, the precocious eldest daughter of the Hua family longs to be free of the confines her family and status entails. She is looked down upon by the Hua women for her unfeminine pursuits. She meets Shen Qi, her soon-to-be fiancée, and Gu Yan Xi, while secretly running her own errands. They both are impressed by her knowledge and wit. The Hua men are summoned by the Emperor.

is always welcome. Looks like we are seeing the possibilty of two suitors, but for now she and her family seem to be heading into exile in the North.

I loved the opening storyline -- young boy traveling the seas with grandfather, and all, and during storm he does this heroic thing that you realize this kid is special... then to find out the young boy is a girl... and I love her relationship with her grandfather & old Zhoug. ----- she meets her betroth, she meets ML

love the storyline and actors/ actresses so much!! "Blossoms in adversity" is a compelling theatrical experience that succeeds in engaging its audience both intellectually and emotionally. With its captivating storyline, exceptional performances, and timely themes, the production team really deserves a standing ovation
