Great drama so far!
There’s only a few episodes out so far but I have to write an initial review because I don’t want anyone to be discouraged from watching this drama because of the low rating. Some people are mass giving this drama a low rating because several of the actors are participating in a competition show.That being said, after watching the first episode, I’m already hooked on this drama! The story is very interesting so far and shows the ups and downs that come with being an idol, from the story of the actor-idol who deals with extra schedules and tension from the other members to the failed groups from small companies who work hard to rebrand and never lose sight of their dream. The actors are very well chosen, and so far they’ve all played their parts really well.
I’ll definitely write a full review after I’ve finished watching but I want to encourage everyone to give this drama a chance! It’s very high quality.

REALLY GOOD!! Needs more attention from people.
This show has so much potential. The reality of how idols live their life is shown here and it would really make the viewers think and get to know that living as an idol isn't really all about just the fun, fame, and glamour but there are tons of other hardships they go through behind the scenes that not everyone can witness. The cast is all great and they all fit their characters so well. It is very interesting to at least get a sneak peek at how idols live their everyday lives through this drama. Yes, there may be some exaggerations and add-ons since of course, this is a drama but we can't ignore the facts and reality mixed in there too. It feels unfortunate that there are not many people giving this attention and it's probably because they only show 1 episode for a week which is a bummer. Not everyone has the time to wait THAT long. Hopefully, this drama goes well in the long run and people would start noticing how good this is too, it really deserves a lot of viewers and attention!Was this review helpful to you?
ONE THING HAS BEEN LEARNED : LET THE IDOLS LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
It is totally RECOMMEND ❣️❣️❣️ A drama that captures most of all the straggles an idol can go through.The story line is on point. The chemistry between the characters is just perfect. It reminded me of some situations I faced as a kpop fan. ONE THING HAS BEEN LEARNED : LET THE IDOLS LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!this is my personal opinion (like refusing things they do not want to do, have friends, date freely the once they love. They should not apologize just because they might date but also have normal relationships with others).it's a review that I decided to write because I saw some low rating. I respect others opinions but if some of you are interested in watching this drama it's worth the time.

NOT BAD AT ALL
Not bad for an Idol Drama, which I normally don’t watch. As a viewer, it paints a pretty good idea of how hard it is for these celebrity idols to TRY and live a normal life. For them, there’s never a time they are not in the spotlight. Yes, they’re living their dreams, doing what they like to do most, but I’m sure trying to have some kind of private life has to be rough, too. After all, everyone’s youth should be lived to its fullest, being happy in every aspect of life and love. I don’t really recognize anyone in the cast but they all did a pretty good job. Personally, I thought the positive message they all come together for was worth watching the show in its entirety, and understanding it all.Was this review helpful to you?

Started watching without much expectations!OST in this drama are amazing. Ji So is really talented! Her voice is lovely.
It's my first time seeing both leads and I look forward to see their future dramas.
I really loved those episodes when Kwon Ryok started to like Ma Ha and pestering her. It was funny and cute.
It makes you feel butterflies in your stomach. Sadly, after EP 10, there was not much scene express the affection between the main leads. I felt Kwon Ryok looks become colder to Ma Ha compare to the earlier episodes. Kiss scenes were a bit awkward like they used to be in idol drama.
Overall it was a good idol drama.Recommended to watch!

An Idol life the good, bad and ugly(owners) A must see
I enjoy watching webtoons turn into idol dramas especially this one. I feel like it touches on so many levels that are true to life in the dreams of being an idol. Its sad in many way as you watch these young kids training every day for hours on end and some make some don't. Here they train and receive nothing unless you are great and bring in money they get an allowance and a nicer place to stay. Your life is owned by the company as a pretty face and talent, but don't think of having any real relationship as your fans will dislike it and attack everyone. I'm a fan of many Kpop group, but they are also humans and should be allowed to have a life that's not destroyed or controlled by the fans. Your there for the good times, but throw them away when it bad or you dislike them and start bad rumors that hurt so many unnecessary. You see it everyday on multiple internet sites. This was a great Drama that shows you some real things that happen in our lives today. The cast of idols did a amazing job and hope to see more of them as they grow. a none bias review of the kdrama(mosty with the acting and ost)
Okay first of all, I have read the webtoon series but only the season 1 since I though I might spoil myself, but that was not the case. If anyone who would like to really fully know the whole story I recommend reading the webtoon rather than watching this. (English isn't my first language)Lets talk about the story line; tbh I felt like the story was rush. Wherein some parts are dull and unnecessary and other were too much which isn't part of the webtoon at all ( I do understand that this is adaptation but it was way too much)
The acting...my god tbh only half of the actor/actresses were able to portray the characters from the manhwa, However as the it continues their acting became natural but I notice that they were uncomfortable with their co-stars. I'm now gonna go more the chemistry between the main lead(maha and ryok), 2nd main(yujin and hyunji), and some other chemistry that are WORTH MENTIONING.
The main lead: chemistry was off especially with maha in the beginning but later on went to ryok. where in maha was the clingy one in the beginning but ryok went full on pick me boy, knowing HE BROKE UP WITH HER BUT CLINGS TO HER AFTER HE BREAKS THEM UP. Following her everywhere she go, like a lost child begging for attention(like bruh you acting like she broke up with u but its the opposite). I truly lost hope on the main lead at that point and just invested my focus on the other interactions between the characters.
The 2nd lead: okay these two I've been rooting for them since day one, but their chemistry with each other started out a bit awkward but later on I notice they both improved a lot both nayoung and yunho(hyunji and yunho) However they did well for being the 2nd lead couple. I only wished for more interactions between the two.
My fav couple/duos:
1. RIA AND THE SHAX MEMBER( im sorry I forgot his name) THESE TWO, THEY HAD MORE CHEMISTRY COMBINED WITH THE MAIN LEAD THE 2ND LEAD COUPLES. They deserve to be known, their acting with each other was so natural as well with storyline. They were flawless as if they were a real couple.
2. HYUK AND DOJIN, honesty I really didn't think that I would end the drama and remembering this duo. They were two peas in pod. What surprised me even more is that even if hyuk is more on the cuter side, Jongho playing this role is such a good choice and even placing him with yuri(dojin) made it better. They were so natural and comfortable with each other , and while watching it I just though I was watching a couple of besties having fun.
3. Ryok and SHAX MANAGER, now I know I slandered ryok at first but his interaction with his manager just makes up for it. These two were amazing, the classic funny duo which I truly love.
4. Lalima and Tea party Manager, Both of them weren't a couple but I love their friendship and professionalism with one another. Both being caring for the people around them and acting mature in making decisions( even if Lalima was the antagonist in the start you will start to love her as the story goes on)
Now I want to talk about the ost/songs that were in here. First, DIAMOND-sparkling HAS POTENTAIL BUT THEY MADE IT A FLOP SONG ON PURPOSE. My first listen to this song I became a fin asap but as it keeps one repeating I learned to love it despite that horrendous autotune/nassle voice at the start and rap. TEAPARTY/OMEGA 3, I kid you not I have this song stuck in my head and I don't care since it was so good. Knowing that the actress were past trainees and idol I knew the one would come out great but I was shock with the actress that played as maha. She is good at singing and dancing, you can really see that she did her best in portraying her role. MALO-Shax, its a bop. I'm not surprised since shax is suppose to be the best group in imitation. The melody and chores fits so well with each other.

Amazing and Interesting
I really thought i wasn't going to like this show but i got sucked into it real quick. honestly upset that ive finished it. it gives you a different perspective of what trainees and idols go through behind the scenes. The music is catchy and the groups are well put together. the main two couldve had more of a spark but all the side couples make up for it honestly. theres been many of these kpop shows and i love all of them but this one by far is the best one ive ever seen. its more real. shows more of what trainees ACTUALLY go through instead of this fantasy world10/10 recommend this show.

Surprising
At the beginning a through that it will be a cringed teen idol drama BUT it’s not. The plot is amazing, and it stick to the reality of what trainees and idols have to endure in their daily life. How hard it is to do that job. We can see the bright side and the dark side of the kpop industry, how they are sometimes dehumanised. They talk about serious topic but it’s still very funny ! I love the character of Hyuk. I heard that it was the first drama for some actors, they did really well !!! I recommend this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

I'm craving for more! This is so good. Congrats Yunho, Jongho, Seonghwa, San debuting as actors. While I was watching, I thought you are all already a senior in acting. You're the best! I can't for the next episode~ Seyoung, Minsoo so cute~ Especially Hyuk copying La Rima AHAHHAHA. And my heart's pounding every time Maha and Yujin are together. Why?!?!? I ship them so hard. Overall Imitation is amazing! All actors are amazing. I'm inlove with this drama. Really made my day. Please!!! I can't wait for the next episode!Was this review helpful to you?
New idol actors
From the 2 episodes I’ve seen I can’t wait for the other ones. Our newbie idol/actors are doing a good job San Jongho Yunho and Seonghwa from ATEEZ it’s their first time acting. I know idol/actor Lee JunYoung from UKISS has helped them feel more relaxed while filming. I feel his character Kwon Ryuk seems cold hearted on the outside but on the inside he is a caring individual. I’m excited to see what confrontation takes place between MaHa and Ma Ri. Others should watch this so they can see what goes on behind the scenes of making a kpop idolWas this review helpful to you?
what a good start !
i really love the story ! cant wait for next episode omg. i’m an ateez fan and i started watching to support yunho (yujin) but this drama is so good !! i would watch it even if ateez wasn’t part of it! it’s really interesting because it shows how idols’ live behind the scenes ... and it’s harder than what it looks like ... :(the songs are also really good i’m surprised ! this whole idols/actors concept is really refreshing and exiting ! the acting is also really good and it feels natural (?), like they’re not acting at all !
