It tells the story of the legendary first half years of Li Yu Qin's life, who was the last noble lady of Chinese history and one of the last wives of Pu Yi, the last emperor of the Qing dynasty. We get to know the ups and downs of their relationship as well as the story of a common Chinese woman who defied imperial power in order to pursue happiness. Spanning from 1942 to 1957, this drama uses Aisin Gioro Pu Yi's life experience as background, focusing on the joys and sorrows and the emotional entanglements between Pu Yi and Noble Lady Fu, his last noble lady.
