This was such a refreshing and awesome drama. Mystery, romance, comedy. It is a wonderful drama and very underrated. I LOVED every second of this drama. The mystery angle was so good it had me wondering what was going on. My sister had to convince me to watch this and it took 2 episodes but after that I was hooked. The romance didnt come until later but it was definitely worth it. read more The love story is sweet and simple not usual kdrama type where he is rich and she is poor just about a woman who falls for a man and a man who falls for a woman. It is so simple and adorable. Everyone should watch it if they want something new and exciting and FUNNY! The comedy in this drama was AMAZING! It had me laughing out loud at least a couple of times per episode.

First of all. This drama will make you hungry for sure ! :)

At first i wasn't really sure if i should watch it cause the title ''Let's Eat'' wasn't very appealing to me to be honest. But i was hooked by the first episode! Lee So Kyung is soo loveable. There was nobody on the show that i disliked. Everyone was so adorable! It's a really light drama but not boring read more at all! I really liked the romance too. So much chemestry! *__* I'm really gonna miss all the characters.... :(

the ending was just perfect... it even made me tear up a little :')

What i learned from this drama ?

If worrying could make worrying go away, then we would have no worries... so let's eat :)

Both series are food centric rom-coms with a similar feel. Whilst Lets Eat is more about the delicious food porn Oh My Ghost is set in a restaurant so there is always food around.

Each series features an unknown food blogger element.

Both of these series also include mystery and darker storylines alongside a cute romance.

I am not really sure why, honestly. They are two different dynamics but both equal to me. I think you all might think the same. :-)

I just finished Episode 2 and am wondering if I should continue. Is this drama basically all eating scenes and scenes of Lee Soo Kyung with her dog? I guess I’m not really into it at this point. Some of the eating scenes are funny, but so far some of the humor is also pretty gross. Can I expect more of the same to come, or does the show become better/funnier/develop more of a plot?

it does become funnier and develop some plots and builds on romantic interest so in that sense it is a great show. but if it's purely the plot that your after, then this will be kind of a lack luster until the last two episodes and the others very slowly developing to it. All in all, it's a great show 8/10. i would say that it's worth watching.

This drama comes to my mind from time to time when I think of cute, delightful dramas that reignited my love from kdramas in times of boredom! And that's because it's one of those dramas that made me interested again in dramaland after a slump... Thank you Let's eat <3 <3

I first watched the second season and then this one and even though they are equal lil' gems,I found myself liking this one better, because it has a slice of life feel, the characters are more familiar, realistic and likeable,it's quite funny, and overall its plot is more solid that the second season's which is quite random.Btw I particularly liked the character of the female lead's Boss and the doggie lol

Need advice. I love food related films/series. BUT, i really don't think i can take 2 different female leads for 2 seasons. So my question is:
Should i watch Season 1 or 2? Cause i'm pretty sure i'll only able to watch either.

I watched the second season months ago on the basis of it being the recent one and I watched the first one recently. Both of them are great & I recommend them.Truth be told though,I enjoyed more & connected more with the first one. They are two completely different stories so the fact that there are two different female leads and that the male lead gets together with each of them in each season will go unnoticed.

okay then maybe I'll just watch the first one for now and decide on the next later :D Cause I loved drinking solo, hopefully this will be similar..

      Thanks for the reply

The Let's Eat series & Drinking Solo are refreshing high quality dramas but I vote for Drinking Solo all the way ;)

I am confused. Someone help me clear this up. Is he in love in both seasons? However the female leads are different? Is that it? Does he end up with the main female lead in season 1? And is he like just friends with the female lead in season 2? He never liked her right (hopefully)?? I NEED TO KNOW.

That's an extreme let-down. But it's pretty realistic I must say. Is it advisable that I just skip to Season 2?

I don't think I'll enjoy just watching food all the time! Will I still like this drama? I mean, is there something else going on worthy of my time, except just......food?

I loved the randomness of this drama and its focus on delicious food! I wan't really interested in the "serious" angle but anyway it was really pleasant!

I saw the episode 2 of "let's eat" and after seeing it I realized that the male lead is the same and I'm hesitating to see it because it is sad to see that breaks with the noona and starts with another woman, I mean when I watch a series I want an Happy Ending not tragedy or sad endings so this one firstly I thought that the male lead character will be different I mean he will play two different guys in these 2 series but sadly he is the same person
