If you are looking for a short series with funny, a bit action and life of Detective. This is it!
The story is Fast and easy plot but they telling it smooth and fun so I continue to watch till the end without thinking it waste my time at all. I like all the cast and the acting is good for every one of them. It strange that just a simple story but I'm not bored I like the connection between son and father detective so much. It's very realistic, funny and somehow sweet. the lack of all Japanese drama is the romantic part I would say don't expect to see it in this drama but you will laugh for sure lol.

Great comfort rewatch show with best theme song

I recall watching this series a couple years back and it seriously is the best.

The epic theme song is addicting and goes with the series so well.

Satoh Takeru is such an amazing actor and he was great in this series. He and Watabe Atsuro have such good chemistry together as partners and a father-son duo. I loved all their funny and heartwarming moments together.
The whole cast was so goofy and they all had amazing chemistry!

Overall, this is a gem and a great comfort rewatch show.

There were moments when I really wasn’t sure if I was watching “just” a comedy or downright a parody. On the one hand, there were actual serious cases that the team had to solve, on the other hand, there was a slapstick comedy hiding behind every bush. It was an odd combination.

But I really loved the family angle, both between Junior and Gentle and among the team. I loved the message that once you joined the team, you became family and the others would do anything to help you. And I also adored that the whole team came to really love Junior and they took to him as their son/little brother. I also loved the up-n-down romance with Maeda, it was hilarious.

I would definitely recommend this drama for the father/son relationship between Gentle and Junior. The way their backstory was slowly peeled away, that it was revealed just how much they loved each other despite all the years of misunderstanding... Right up my alley, to be honest.

(Also, Takeru Satoh is really, really, really pretty here!)
