To be honest, it's like a lesser version of bpoop phaeh sanniwaat. The story is okay, but sometimes it felt like they made Manee way too dumb. If she comes from the future, they could've at least given her a bit more intelligence and make her stand up for herself, but she just seemed thick-headed at moments. Also, she behaves very immaturely and often is monkey-like in her actions, which made it hard for me to relate to her and get into the story fully. There were also a few episodes that were based off of one little misunderstanding and it was blown out of proportion. Thep was about as emotional as a chair, but then suddenly was able to show expressions at certain moments. I do like the poker-faced guys though, so I didn't mind that.

The actors did what they could with the script, I understand it's really hard to act as if you're in another time at another place, but they did well.

It's a good lakorn though, don't misunderstand! If you wish to watch a good romance, just skip the parts where they talk about work and the parts in the future. It'll help you get through it when it starts to look dull.

What an exhilarating breath of fresh air. The drama started extremely well and continued the slow, leisure pace in its storyline and romance to the end.

This drama made me appreciate the Thai culture and traditions, it helped me visualise how a normal person’s life must have been back then in Thai. It all seemed very realistic (if you take out the magic mirror and time travel)

I found myself appreciating the struggles Thai people must have faced through the ages and how strong they must have been to still be independent now when so many countries were colonised (like mine).

I appreciated the absence of fierce antagonists. Being fully adverse with Thai Larkons I am quite used to expecting to see screaming second leads ~ this drama spared me.

This drama has such strong women, most of who support each other and help each other grow.

The romance was slow and simmering, I’ll like to credit the Male lead for this because of his quiet, strict, and shy personality as compared to the open minded, modern, firecracker of our female lead. Still, he was fierce and adamant on who he wanted and who he didn’t.

I didn’t want to understand somethings he did in the latter half when the prospect of time travel for the future female lead became more concrete, but I did. And I could not fault him for being desperately in love.

One fault I can find is the lack of goodbyes this drama had for the female lead and ALL her circle of people in her original life. Granted, saying goodbye to her mum was a good treat nonetheless.

All in all, I throughly enjoyed this drama and love it dearly. It’s a sweet, slow, and thought provoking ride.

9.5/10

I love watching these kinds of tv shows because Thai Traditional teaches humans to be the best and if you really want to know how people used to live 100 years ago this is the one. I may have to disagree to some people on here when they think Manee have to act dumb. A little Spoiler since people talked down a little on Manee If you watch the show and truly understand why she has to act dumb its because it was to fool the other characters. If you watch to the end of the episodes you'll understand why she was like that. Please don't compare Bhuphhate Sanniwas to this drama because this drama came out in 2011 and Bhuphhate Sanniwas came out in 2017 soo if you want to give credit please give credit to the drama that came way out before. I just love time travel drama because they built the most chemistry. We all want a man who is a gentleman and for sure these dramas are the ones that drew us to keep watching. I love this drama and the OST is really good. She is pretty and he is very handsome. The best part is that his drama was based on a book. Pretty surprising right? This book was written back in 1990 I believe. If you're into one of those time traveling like Ban Banjathorn, and Bhuphhate Sanniwas then this is a good one too. It's very cute and funny.

My first time- travel lakorn and still win my heart till today.

The lakorn not only focus on the time- travel love story but also tell the previous lives of Thai people and how they survived from the colonization. It helps me a lot as a non-Thai to understand their traditional cultures and languages. The male and female leads show strong love feelings to each other together with humors and surprises added in between them.

Although the time-travel is the starting reason of this story, it also portrays as one of the main obstacles in the plots. All is great except for the supporting characters in the present life that can't help much with the cast leads except making the story a little bored. Nevertheless, the stories of the past lives are still exciting to be watched.

One of the great lakorns for those who likes to watch boran (traditional lives) lakorn.

It was released when I was 12. I watched the dubbed version for several times. It is and will be one of all-time favorite drama I would go back anytime to rewatch it. I still remember how I laughed and enjoyed this drama back then. Now, every time I hear it OST, I recalled the old memory and It feels so fresh as if it just happens. The ost fits so well with the whole story and it triggers my nostalgic feeling.

If you watch and love Love Destiny (Buphae Saniwat), this drama is a must. The quality is very basic as it was years ago, but the casts and the whole storyline is very compelling and heart-warmed.

It was great!

The drama was nice and sweet.

I really want to like the story, but Manee is a bit way too immature. I get it that the storyline is suppose to go like that, but there should be limit and I just feel like Manee is too immature for her age. When she's in the modern life, she is more mature than when she's in the past life. I guess she is just more comfortable in the past life than the current life, which kind of make sense, but then they made her too childish. Pancake did act on point and represent Manee really well.

Akarathep is a mature man and well manner. He's the opposite of Manee. I really like his character because he is so mature to the point that I feel bad for him. He may be a man in the inside, but he has hard time dealing with love. I liked how he tries his best to understand Manee, but to also stay strict as well. Om did a great job on the acting, but there are times when he missed the expression on certain parts.

The chemistry between the two was great. Though there is many misunderstanding because of the lack of communication, they both can still go well together. They both solve the problems easily, and forgive each other.

The osts was great and would listen to it repeatedly.

Overall, love the two together. They both are a good match. Wouldn't regret watching!

Well I finally got around to watching Tawipob (2011) , because it was so hard to find English subs of it, I was finally able to on DailyMotion. This wacky heroine from the future is fun and independent. It seemed to me that often the male lead was quite perturbed by her, and even a bit exasperated. But by the last few episodes his love seemed to have grown steadfast and deep. It was very romantic and he was always a true gentleman and man of honor. It was refreshing to have a mother-in-law love and approve of her future daughter-in-law. It was also nice not to have a scheming second female lead in the mix. I could’ve done without the historical background story. I think the politics played way too much into the drama. I felt like there were quite a few digs and slights against everyone who is “Caucasian”. And the lead heroine should’ve known better because she lived in the future and didn’t have as narrow-minded a viewpoint as her ancestors would have. I think that the stereotypes that were portrayed that all white people are bad and want to distroy other cultures and even find them disgusting was a bit heavy handed. Other than that the drama was pretty good.
