New GTO Special to air in October

Fuji TV recently announced that it will be airing a two hour Drama Special for its recently finished drama, Great Teacher Onizuka (2012). It will air on Tuesday, October 2nd 2012.
Most of the cast will be back in the drama special including EXILE's Kurosawa Ryohei (aka AKIRA), Yamamoto Yusuke, Shirota Yu, Takimoto Miori, Kawaguchi Haruna, Kuroki Hitomi and more!

Well as long as it has my two fave actors in it I'll watch it. I wasn't really impressed with the remake. I felt it was too short. Maybe this special will make-up for it?

I'm actually not looking forward to this. The remake started out good but eventually it just felt like a cheaper version of GTO. The original was a masterpiece and this one was just average. I was kinda ready for it to be over.

I hope we get more Yusuke and Shirota. I felt their talents were wasted. :/ Although I did enjoy their characters I wish they had more moments.
