Upcoming Jdramas: The Winter Season
Since I’m new to Tdramas, how in the world did I end up watching it ? I didn’t even know any of the actors to start with. Well, in this case, it’s thanks to MDL’s feed that I discovered it and also a picture of Aaron Yan posted by one of my MDL friends. Yes, I admit it, I signed up for it because of eye candy of someone I didn't even recognize.
Well, it turned out good since I am still watching it and even writing about it hehe
So! What is it all about?
Cheng Liang Liang (Puff Kuo) is working in a marketing design company called GAZE. One day, before getting off to work, Qi Yi (Aaron Yan) enters, unannounced, the house she's rented.
Nice first meeting ^^' Just a tad bit cliché. Girl just got out of the bathroom and suddenly finds herself naked in front of a stranger.
He says that he now owns the house and wants her to be gone in 24 hours.
Liang Liang isn't going to do as he says and so begins an argument with her telling him that she paid 6 months of rent in advance and that she intends to stay until then.
After a few minutes of intense verbal exchange, she says that she has to go to work since it's an important day for her best friend and her new boss is coming as well.
But guess who she sees at her workplace? The same guy who bought the house she lives in haha

At that moment, she doesn't really pay attention to Qi Yi and just goes on with what she was about to do: Witness her best friend's, Kate, marriage proposal. Oddly enough, at least to me, Kate's boyfriend, Alex, is going to propose in front of everyone.
BUT! Like Liang Liang guessed so well, Qi Yi also bought the company. And the first thing he does is forbidding office romance.
To increase work efficiency, no workers are allowed to develop any office romance.And there goes away Kate's dream of marrying Alex. He backs up fearing of being fired, and they eventually broke up. After witnessing that scene, outraged, Liang Liang is determined to see them back together. But how is she going to do that? Qi Yi is determined to see that rule respected to the letter and won't change his mind nor make an exception.
If anyone breaks the rule, they will be fired immediately. CEO Qi Yi
She and some friends are coming up with a plan: The only way to make him revoke that rule is to make him fall in love with Liang Liang. The plan's name: The Lion Hunting Mission. For that plan to work, she will have first to convince him to let her stay in the house. The thing she manages to do, though she'll have to respect a few rules...

#1: Place your shoes in the cabinet. Each pair should be 6cm apart. No more No less.
#2: Living room must be kept clean at all time. You can't eat or drink on the sofa. Prohibiting any food pieces to fall on the floor.
#3: The refrigerator is divided very clearly. Do not cross the line. Junk food and expired leftovers are prohibited.
#4: After meals, finish cleaning the dishes in 5 mins. No leftover dishes in the sink. Dishes must be dried and thoroughly cleaned with disinfecting cotton cloth. Afterwards, the utensils must be sorted and stored in the organized shelves.
#5: Washing machine has to be sterilized every week. After you wash your clothes, within 3 minutes, you have to search it. You can't let any hair inside.
#6: Any time or moment the bathroom must be maintained very clean. After 9pm, you can't make any weird noise.
#7: No one in the company can know that we are living together. If someone does, you must resign and move.
And here I thought Hwang Tae Kyung was a real neat freak. I clearly didn't know about Qi Yi O.O
And so begins Liang Liang and Qi Yi life together.
Will he fall for her and cancel the non-romance-in-office rule?
Why Watch?
Honestly, I don't know how to convince you into watching this. It's probably one of the most predictable and cheesiest dramas I've ever watched. Take all rom-coms clichés and put them there. I expect the truck of doom to come soon. And I’m pretty sure it will go like Chongdamdong Alice did: Guy discovers about the Lion Hunting Mission, will be very angry, disappointed, doubt his and her feelings, blah blah. You know, typical rom-com haha
Should I apply to be screenwriter ? o.O
In some parts, the acting is a bit exaggerated, but not the point where it could annoy you. Seen worse than that *cough*MomoLove*cough* *cough*droppedit*cough*
Aaron Yan, in my opinion, is doing a good job in portraying his character. Watched some of his other dramas and even though I wouldn’t say he’s the greatest actor earth has known, I genuinely think that he’s good.
Other than that, I think that if you’re looking for something light and not brain-wrecking, then don’t look anymore, there you have it. It’s just so cute and hilarious. All characters are likable, but one. Well, yes, not everyone can be likable. There’s always one.
Though, one tiny thing that bugs me : the make-up :| Seriously looks like they have an inch of make-up on. It’s really obnoxious sometimes.
All in all, I love the drama even though it doesn't seem like it hehe. Yes, I know, I've stated some negative parts about that drama, but I really love it. The main leads have a great chemistry, which makes it more enjoyable. When I caught up on it, the fact that I had to wait for next episode really depressed me haha.
