2013 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival
This year's surprise big winner of the 50th Golden Horse Awards is Ilo. Ilo, a Singapore production that has received a mixed bag of reviews. Personally, if you're in the mood to cry... ALOT, then watch the movie. It was well directed and the acting was superb, but it will not be everyone's cup of tea. Several other films also took home many awards including The Grandmaster and Stray Dogs. I can highly recommend The Grandmaster as an amazingly good movie for plot, acting, action, it's got it all.
