The highly anticipated movie Concrete Utopia, directed by Uhm Tae Hwa, and featuring talented actors including Lee Byung HunPark Bo Young, and Park Seo Joon, has officially announced its release date to be August 9.

Concrete Utopia is a gripping thriller drama movie that tells the story of survivors who have gathered in the Hwanggung Apartment, the only remaining building in Seoul, after a massive earthquake leaves the city in ruins.

With a talented cast, a unique plot, and visually stunning scenes, Concrete Utopia promises to exceed expectations. 

The K-movie portrays the lives of people in the Hwanggung Apartment, each making different choices to secure their survival in the wake of the cataclysmic earthquake. The film stands out with its innovative setting and meticulously crafted storyline that delves into the complexities of human nature, offering a refreshing and out-of-the-ordinary take from conventional disaster movies.

Moreover, the film boasts an outstanding cast, including highly-esteemed actors like Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Young, Park Seo Joon, Kim Sun YoungKim Do Yoon, and Park Ji Hoo, among others, all of whom with exceptional acting talents and unique personalities bring their characters to life. 

The movie is loosely based on part 2 of the webtoon "Happy Boy" by writer Kim Soong Nyoong.  

Concrete Utopia will also get a sequel featuring Ma Dong SeokLee Jun YoungRoh Jeong EuiLee Hee Joon, and Kim Young Sun
