Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Kang Daniel is in talks to star in the upcoming Disney+ drama entitled "Our Police Course".
A representative from his agency KONNECT Entertainment shared on February 1, "Kang Daniel received the offer for the main lead role of upcoming drama 'Our Police Course' and he's currently reviewing it".
The soloist got the offer to play the role of a freshman at the Korean National Police University named Wi Seung Hyun. He looks up to his father who is the Commissioner of the Gyeonggi Dongbu Police Agency. He's following in the foot steps of his father but his life will turn upside down after an encounter with Go Eun Gang.
"Our Police Course" will show the college life of teens born in the year 2000 in universities in Korea.
If Kang Daniel accepts the offer, this will be his debut as an actor. He first appeared on the survival program of Mnet, "Produce 101". He achieved the top spot and was declared the center of the temporary group Wanna One. After the disbandment of the group, Kang Daniel continued to promote solo with tons of offers from the entertainment industry as well as brand endorsements. Currently, he's actively promoting as a solo artist in his own company, KONNECT Entertainment. Kang Daniel is also scheduled to release an album in February and will star in a new variety series on UNIVERSE platform.
