Doctor Slump extends empathy and solace to those weary of the demands of contemporary life.

The production team of JTBC's upcoming weekend drama Doctor Slump unveiled a group and character posters featuring Park Shin HyePark Hyung SikYoon Park, and Kong Seong Ha

Doctor Slump is an upcoming rom-com that tells the story of two doctors in a slump, trying to steer their lives out of the darkness.

In the group and character posters, the sight of the four people clad in doctor's gowns against a crimson running track catches attention. It represents their life race, filled with personal struggles, competition, and the pauses taken amidst the hustle, emphasizing the phrase, "There are moments in everyone's life in the world when CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is needed."

The poster aims to evoke empathy in those tired of the struggles and the long race of life they have been running non-stop.

In the K-drama, Park Shin Hye portrays Nam Ha Neul, a doctor grappling with burnout syndrome. Having a sharp mind and putting in her relentless efforts, she dedicated her youth to studies and work, having no idea how to enjoy life. However, a sudden realization about her crumbling life prompts her to contemplate change.

Park Hyung Sik takes on the role of Yeo Jeong Woo, a star plastic surgeon who plunges into the worst slump of his life. From excelling as the top student in his school days to becoming a skilled and star doctor, Jeong Woo's life was flawless until an inexplicable medical accident pushed him to the edge.

Yoon Park portrays the pretentious and prideful plastic surgeon, Bin Dae Young, who has a sense of rivalry with Jeong Woo since their university days. Yet, he understands Jeong Woo better than anyone else.

Kong Seong Ha portrays Lee Hong Ran, Ha Neul's best friend and an anesthesiologist. She becomes strangely intertwined with Bin Dae Young.

The production team states, "The four people are intertwined in a special way, from Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jeong Woo meeting each other in their brightest and most dismal times to the meeting of Bin Dae Young and Lee Hong Ran, who live their own realities." They add, "The doctors are more relatable and comforting because they are realistic."

Doctor Slump will premiere on January 27. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
