Girls Day's Yura is returning to acting with "This Relationship Is Force Majeure."

After being one of the panelists of the hit dating program "EXchange 2," Yura will now return to the K-drama world. On November 9th, media outlet Star News confirmed that Yura will be part of the upcoming JTBC drama "This Relationship Is Force Majeure." It was also revealed that the idol actress has begun filming for the series. 

Yura will be joining the reported main leads SF9's Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah. The upcoming series is the latest work of director Nam Ki Hoon ("Kiss Sixth Sense" and "Voice 3: City of Accomplices") and writer Noh Ji Sul ("100 Days My Prince" and "Scent of a Woman").

"This Relationship Is Force Majeure" will be the follow-up drama project of Yura after the 2022 series "Forecasting Love and Weather." Yura made her acting debut in 2011. Just like other Girls Day members, Yura starred in several k-dramas while in the group and she is currently more active now as an actress. 

Yura has starred in several K-dramas such as "To the Beautiful You," "Reckless Family Season 3," "The Dramatic,' "After The Show Ends," "People You May Know," "Radio Romance," and more. 

Before Yura focused more on being an actress, she was first known as the main rapper and visual of her girl group Girls Day. She made her official debut in 2010.

"This Relationship Is Force Majeure" is a fantasy romance series that will revolve around a woman who obtained a forbidden book that was from 300 years ago and a man who will be the victim of the sealed book.

According to reports, Yura will be one of the main leads of the drama together with Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah.

There are no official details yet on the character that Yura will portray.
