The upcoming horror supernatural K-drama The Sense will reportedly not push through.

On August 23rd, several media outlets revealed that the upcoming Netflix K-drama The Sense starring WEi's Kim Yo Han and Han Ye Ri will no longer be produced. According to reports, the production team disbanded due to conflicting differences while the script was being revised.

Earlier this year reports shared that both  Kim Yo Han and Han Ye Ri are positively considering to star in the upcoming series.

The production company handling the upcoming K-drama The Sense responded to the reports. Production company Higround denied that the series would be canceled. According to them, "The news about the drama being canceled is a misreport. The script is currently in the process of revision so it was postponed for now. The schedule will resume once all the revision is finalized. There was a slight miscommunication during the production."

The Sense will tell the story of four Catholic high school students who can see, smell, hear, and touch their souls. They will face an evil spirit that has awoken after 10 years.

The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Lee Jung Heum (Inspector Koo and Nobody Knows). The script will be written by screenwriter Jung Hyun Jin.

This K-drama will possibly be the comeback of Kim Yo Han to acting after two years. He last starred in the 2021 series School 2021 with Choo Young Woo, Cho Yi Hyun, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Kim Kang Min, and Seo Hee Seon

Meanwhile, this drama will also be the official return of Han Ye Ri to K-dramas. She was last seen in the 2021 K-drama Hometown. This year, she made a special appearance in the K-drama One Day Off led by Lee Na Young.
