The upcoming thriller mystery K-drama High Cookie is confirmed to air this year.

On June 14, STUDIO X+U and ARC Media confirmed that High Cookie will be released as the first original mid-form drama of U+ mobile TV in the second half of 2023. 

High Cookie will revolve around an elite high school that gets swallowed up by mysterious handmade cookies that make people's dreams come true. The older sister will enter the cookies to rescue her sibling from the swamp.

The upcoming K-drama will be led by Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Hyun Wook, Kim Mu Yeol, Jung Da Bin, Seo Bum June, and Chae Seo Eun

It will be the collaborative work of director Song Min Yeop (Youth of May, Doctor Prisoner and  School 2017) and writer Kang Han.

The production company ARC Media also confirmed that High Cookie is filming and it will be out within the second half of the year.

Nam Ji Hyun will play the role of Choi Soo Young. She is a factory worker who is not yet a regular in her company. She will risk everything just so she can save her sister from the swamp. This will be the first K-drama of Nam Ji Hyun for the year. She last starred in 2022 hit K-drama Little Women.

Choi Hyun Wook will play the role of Seo Ho Su, he is a genius boy and a 3rd-year student at Junghan High School. He becomes a pushover in his school because of his rich classmates. This will be the fourth upcoming K-dramas of the rising actor. He will also join the K-dramas Twinkling Watermelon, D.P. Season 2, and Weak Hero Class 2.

Kim Moo Yeol will play eh role of Yoo Sung Pil. He is known as the best consultant for entrance exams. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming K-dramas Sweet Home Season 2 and Sweet Home Season 3 and the movie The Roundup: Punishment.
