A new teaser of the upcoming Friday-Saturday K-drama 7 Escape has been released, that depicts a cruel world filled with deceit and desires. The teaser introduces a group of seven villains, who are willing to do anything to pursue success and their desires.
7 Escape is a revenge drama centered around seven people entangled in the disappearance of a girl, intertwined with numerous lies and desires. Screenwriter Kim Soon Ok - known for the hit dramas The Last Empress and The Penthouse: War in Life series - and The Penthouse director Joo Dong Min, are expected to bring another sensational series.
The dramatic transformations of actors Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon also draw attention.
The second teaser gives a glimpse of the chaos that ensues in the drama. Following the extravagant party scene where everyone is intoxicated, Cherry Entertainment's representative, Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon), provokes and incites someone, saying, "I thought of a tremendous way to make money. It's none other than fake news". The sensational fake news that pours out, claiming it can change the world, raises tension about what kind of chaos it will bring.
Behind the veneer of everyone's beloved wannabe star Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi) and her agency's CEO, Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum), lies shocking realities. Han Mo Ne says, "It's over if it's revealed", which adds to the curiosity about the terrifying truth hidden behind her lovely smile. The chilling expression on Geum Ra Hee's face adds to the tension.
The fabricated world created by villains who would trample over anyone for success and desire is a study in cruelty.
Geum Ra Hee's statement, "What the world believes is the truth", the blood-smeared floor, and the fallen beanie cap foreshadow the commencement of a grave happening.
