"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
The movie Mission Cross has confirmed its release for February 2024 and has unveiled a teaser and a poster featuring the leads Hwang Jung Min and Yeom Jung Ah.
Mission Cross is the story of a former agent, Kang Moo, living as a househusband while hiding his past from his wife, Mi Sun. Whereas, Mi Sun is an ace detective of the violent crimes unit, who misunderstands her husband's secret. They both get caught up in an unexpected crisis.
The teaser poster portrays Hwang Jung Min (12.12: The Day, The Point Men, Hunt, Hostage: Missing Celebrity) and Yeom Jung Ah (SKY Castle, Smugglers) standing side by side in front of the shining cross symbol.
Wearing bulletproof vests and holding guns, the duo spark curiosity about their upcoming adventures. The text reads, "The double action play by a popular duo," teasing the audience with expectations of unique chemistry and high-octane action from the esteemed actors.
The teaser gives a glimpse into the lives of Mi Sun and Kang Moo. The husband-wife duo is seen carrying out intense shootouts.
Kang Moo tries to dissuade his wife, saying, "Because it's really dangerous there." But Mi Sun remains firm on her stance, saying, "No. From now on, you can't do it alone."
