The upcoming JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama King the Land released stills of five intriguing characters: Gu Won (Lee Jun Ho), Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoon Ah), Oh Pyung Hwa (Go Won Hee), Kang Da Eul (Kim Ga Eun), and No Sang Rik (Ahn Se Ha); with each of them possessing a unique personality.

In the drama, Gu Won, the successor to the King Group, and his secretary No Sang Rik form an unlikely connection from their chance encounter on Gu Won's first day of work. No Sang Rik's blunt and straightforward nature surprisingly complements Gu Won's aversion to insincerity. However, his unabashed remarks, regardless of time or place, often lead to moments of playful banter and occasional frustration for his boss.

Nevertheless, No Sang Rik's unfiltered honesty proves to be a valuable asset for Gu Won. He also uses his seasoned social skills, acquired through years of experience, to subtly guide Gu Won when he brings out his audacious behavior. But in return, Gu Won responds with his sharp wit, forming an eccentric and exciting camaraderie.

Meanwhile, a lot of interest centers around the friendship of the trio of Cheon Sa Rang, Oh Pyung Hwa, and Kang Da Eul, whose bond dates back to their college years. Cheon Sa Rang works in the hotel industry, Oh Pyung Hwa is a flight attendant, and Kang Daeul is a store employee, all under the umbrella of the King Group. Not only do they share the trait of a remarkable work ethic, but the trio also support each other through the challenges of corporate life.

After work, they come together to share both joys and sorrows, finding solace in one another's company. They confide in each other, sharing their deepest concerns and unleashing their hidden passions. As they become each other's family, friends, and even relationship and career coaches, their boundless energy and unwavering support bring a renewed sense of vitality to their daily lives.

King the Land will premiere on June 17 on Netflix.
