"The Roundup: Punishment" Surpasses 7 Million Moviegoers
On June 9, the production team of the upcoming crime thriller movie Devils, released character stills of Jang Dong Yoon.
Devils tells the story of Detective Jae Hwan and the monstrous criminal Jin Hyeok.
After tragically losing his brother-in-law to a serial killer two years ago, Detective Jae Hwan harbors a deep hatred for the murderer. Driven by an insatiable desire for justice, he throws himself into a relentless pursuit to capture the killer. In a climactic encounter, Jae Hwan finally confronts the murderer, Jin Hyeok, but their relentless chase ends in a devastating accident.
When Jae Hwan regains consciousness in a hospital, he is shocked to discover that his body has been inexplicably switched with that of the murderer. Fueled by the need to protect his family and unravel the mysteries behind this body switch, Jae Hwan embarks on a perilous and desperate chase against time.
To give a glimpse of the character Jin Hyeok, the production team of the movie released stills.
The character still cuts vividly capture the essence of the ruthless psychopathic murderer Jin Hyuk (Jang Dong Yoon), as he is seen with blood smeared across his face. His disheveled hair, devilish eyes, and thuggish look accentuate his villainous demeanor.
As the story progresses, Jin Hyuk, who later switches bodies with Jae Hwan, begins to manipulate and blackmail the possessed Jae Hwan (Oh Dae Hwan).
Devils will be Jang Dong Yoon's venture into his first-ever villainous role.
The movie also casts Jang Jae Ho, Choi Gwi Hwa, Son Jong Hak, and Shin Seung Hwan, among others. The crime thriller is helmed by Kim Jae Hoon, who also penned the movie's screenplay.
