Directed by Yoo Seon Dong, and the screenplay written by Kim Sae BomThe Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch continues the thrilling adventure of the Counters (demon hunters), who have grown stronger with upgraded powers and a recruit. Together, they take on the growing evil forces that threaten humanity.

Ahead of its highly-anticipated premiere, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch has released three character posters and teasers highlighting the electrifying performances of Jin Seon Kyu as Ma Joo Seok, Kang Ki Young as Pil Kwang, and Kim Hi Eo Ra as Gelly Berherd.

Jin Seon Kyu commands attention with his passionate performance as Ma Joo Seok. Joo Seok lived a happy life with his wife Min Ji and was thrilled to welcome his soon-to-be-born baby. But his joyful life is thrust into darkness when evil spirits attack Min Ji, killing her and her baby. Blinded by fury, Ma Joo Seok seeks revenge, stopping at nothing and ready to face whatever and whoever comes his way.

The following teasers portray the enigmatic evil spirits Pil Kwang and Gelly. What's interesting are their powers which are quite similar to those of Counters'.

Especially noteworthy are Pil Kwang's telekinesis powers and absolute monstrosity accentuated by his chilling gaze. He says, "The blacklight rising from the ground, that's what connects them and us", piquing curiosity about the connection between the Counters' and the evil spirits.

Lastly, Gelly, expressing her delight in killing, epitomizes pure evil. Interestingly, she possesses similar powers to Do Ha Na (Kim Se Jeong), which is psychometry - reading memories by touch.

Gelly's sharp attacks and sadistic enjoyment in slashing, stabbing, cutting, and killing exude an evil charm as a psychometric evil spirit.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch will premiere on July 29 on Netflix.
