Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Jo Bo Ah and SF9's Rowoon are both confirmed to star in the JTBC K-drama Destined With You.
On June 12, it was officially confirmed that the K-drama will be led by Jo Bo Ah and Rowoon, and it will premiere on the broadcast channel JTBC.
Destined With You will tell the romance story of a woman who discovered a forbidden book sealed 300 years ago and a man who will be the victim of the book.
It will be the next work of director Nam Ki Hoon (Kiss Sixth Sense and Big Bet Season 2) and writer Noh Ji Sul. (100 Days My Prince and Scent of a Woman).
The K-drama will be led by Jo Bo Ah, Rowoon, Ha Joon, Girls Day's Yura, Hyun Bong Sik, and Park Kyung Hye.
Destined With You will premiere this August. It will be part of JTBC's Wednesday and Thursday K-drama timeslot. Aside from JTBC, the K-drama will also be available on the global OTT platform, Netflix.
In the series, Jo Bo Ah will play the role of Lee Hong Jo. She is a civil servant of Onju City Hall who will be the one to get a hold of a forbidden book. She always receives unimaginable complaints from the people around her but she always does her best to give her service.
Just recently, Jo Bo Ah returned to the second season of Tale of the Nine-Tailed as a cameo appearance. Aside from Destined With You, Jo Bo Ah will also star in the upcoming K-drama Song of the Geomungo: Golden Swallow with Lee Jae Wook, Kim Jae Wook, and Jung Ga Ram.
Rowoon will play the role of Jang Shin Yu. He is an ace lawyer who's waiting to be released from a curse. His health is weakened due to an unknown disease and asks for help to get away from the curse.
This will be the first K-drama of Rowoon for the year. The idol actor will also lead the upcoming series The Battle of Marriage with Jo Yi Hyun.
