TWICE's Kim Da Hyun confirmed to make her acting debut!
Kim Ji Eun is confirmed to be one of the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
On March 8, Kim Ji Eun's agency confirmed the latest project of the actress. According to HB Entertainment, "Kim Ji Eun will be joining the new series Mom’s Friend’s Son. She will continue to work hard this year as well."
Kim Ji Eun is currently starring in the U+Mobile TV K-drama Branding in Seongsu with Lomon, Yang Hye Ji, Kim Ho Young, Jung Yi Rang, and Ahn Yun Hong.
After this series, she will then work on the upcoming K-drama.
Kim Ji Eun started her acting career in 2014. Since then, she has starred in various K-dramas and films.
The actress became more known after starring in the K-dramas One Dollar Lawyer, Again My Life, and The Veil.
Jung Hae In and Jung So Min will lead the upcoming K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
It will tell the romance story of a woman who wants to restart her erratic life and her mom's friend who is the reason for the dark chapter in her life.
Kim Ji Eun will portray the role of Jung Mo Eum. She is the childhood friend of Jung Hae In (Choi Seung Hyo) and Jung So Min's (Baek Seok Ryu) character. Jung Mo Eum is currently working as a 119 paramedic. She is full of passion and justice. She has dreamed of being a hero ever since she was a child and takes pride in saving someone's life as a paramedic.
Mom's Friend's Son will be directed by Yoo Je Won (Crash Course in Romance). The script will be penned by writer Shin Ha Eun (The Crowned Clown). The production team previously worked in 2021 through the hit K-drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
According to reports, Mom's Friend's Son will premiere in the second half of 2024. It will air on tvN.
