"Chief Detective 1958" Observes Slight Drop in Domestic Viewership
Queen of Tears dropped a new trailer and a poster.
In the K-drama's new teasers, viewers can catch a glimpse of the ups and downs Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) face in their relationship.
The new poster portrays the emotional coldness between the two. Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In can be wearing similar-colored clothes, with their wedding rings on their ring fingers.
The text on the poster, "Love? Crisis? Where are we headed?" suggests that the relationship of the two, who got married out of love, has encountered a crisis.
The trailer commences by showing the tumultuous married life of the couple Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In, who are in their third year of marriage.
Once considered the sweetest couple, the duo are now experiencing conflicts due to their differences. Frustrated with life, Baek Hyun Woo decides to end his marriage but can't even manage to hand over the divorce papers he prepared, fearing Hae In might kill him.
Furthermore, new variables appear in the relationship between Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In.
Hong Hae In, who is confident at all times and everywhere, begins to show her weak side to her husband. She says, "Actually, I'm scared," leaving viewers curious about her fear. And Baek Hyun Woo becomes anxious because of Yoon Eun Seong (Park Sung Hoon), the man from the US.
As emotional changes repeat, a sense of warmth begins to linger between the two. The scene of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In, who used to sleep with their backs turned to each other, resting in each other's arms, hints that their relationship is undergoing a new change.
