Kim Nam Hee's Life Isn't All Sunshine and Rainbows in "Bittersweet Hell"
tvN has released new stills from Queen of Tears featuring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won.
Queen of Tears tells the story of Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), the daughter of the family that runs Queens Group, and Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), her husband and the legal director of Queens Group.
The drama revolves around the couple and the challenges they face in their third year of marriage.
In the first still, one can see the dazzling scene from the wedding of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In, which caused quite a stir among the public. With everyone's blessings and well-wishes, the couple exchanged rings and pledged eternal love, expecting a happy married life with each other always by their side.
Having both looks and talent, they were the perfect couple in everyone's eyes, and it was expected that they would live happily ever after.
However, in the third still, the couple are depicted glaring at each other as if they are going to eat each other up. They no longer wear the sweet smiles of the newlyweds. A chilly atmosphere runs between them, piquing curiosity about what has happened to the once-happy couple.
The previous teaser shed light on the everyday life of Baek Hyun Woo, who has never had a day without tears since marrying Hong Hae In. He lives in agony to the point that there are divorce rumors.
The new stills give a glimpse of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In's journey as a married couple. They leave viewers with the question of what has turned the couple against one another.
Queen of Tears is set to premiere on March 9. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
