Actress Kim Tae Hee will make a special appearance in Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun's Welcome to Samdalri.
A representative from the production team of the K-drama confirmed the news, stating, "It is true that Kim Tae Hee will make a special appearance in Welcome to Samdalri. The filming was completed on December 18."
Kim Tae Hee previously worked with Welcome to Samdalri screenwriter Kwon Hye Joo in the 2020 tvN drama Hi Bye, Mama!
The actress was last seen starring in the ENA drama Lies Hidden in My Garden alongside Im Ji Yeon.
Welcome to Samdalri tells the story of Cho Yong Pil (Ji Chang Wook), a weather forecaster from the small town of Samdalri on Jeju island, and Cho Sam Dal (Shin Hye Sun), an ambitious woman from the same town returning years after she left for Seoul.
Welcome to Samdalri airs every Saturday and Sunday and is available to stream on Netflix.
