"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
MBC's highly anticipated new Friday-Saturday drama, Numbers unveiled stills of Kim Yoo Ri.
Numbers is a thriller drama that tells the story of Jang Ho Woo (Kim Myung Soo), a rookie accountant with a high school diploma, who faces corruption in the top accounting firm in the country.
In the K-drama, Kim Yoo Ri takes on the role of Jang Ji Soo, the former lover of Han Seung Jo (Choi Jin Hyuk). Ji Soo, once an endearing and innocent English graduate student, finds herself in the position of the manager of a Hong Kong hedge fund following her father's tragic death. Blaming herself for her father's death, Ji Soo becomes hardened and unyielding, propelling herself to rapid success.
In the recently unveiled stills, Kim Yoo Ri seamlessly portrays the character of Jang Ji Soo, who is often referred to as the "Black Witch". Her stern expression, cold gaze, commanding aura, and all-black attire complement her character Ji Soo.
Notably, her impassive face, devoid of any emotions, intensifies curiosity about her story. Kim Yoo Ri, known for leaving a lasting impression with her ability to breathe life into unique characters, heightens expectations for her upcoming drama.
The production team describes Jang Ji Soo as an important character who amplifies the tension in the drama. They express their admiration for Kim Yoo Ri's charisma, stating that it greatly enhanced the portrayal of Jang Ji Soo. As Ji Soo is a hidden card, orchestrating suspenseful moments and unexpected plot twists, the team eagerly requests the audience's anticipation and support.
