The upcoming fantasy K-drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 is in full swing for its release. And ahead of its premiere, tvN is releasing teasers and still-cuts to raise anticipation. And the recent set of stills portray the K-drama's main lead Lee Dong Wook, who unexpectedly travels through time to the year 1938.

The first still shows him intently reading a paper in his hands. Though the background is blurred, we can certainly guess he is in the year 1938 standing in surroundings that oddly feel familiar but unreal at the same time.

The second still shows him standing in a shop looking at something through a glass. And the third still portrays him sitting distressed like he is flustered and worried at the circumstances he is thrown in.

What really pulled the gumiho back to the past? And will he safely return to the future where his love awaits him? Let's wait for the K-drama to find out.

Lee Dong Wook is the main lead of the K-drama named Lee Yeon. Lee Yeon is a gumiho who was a mountain spirit and guardian of Baekdudaegan. He gave up his position to reincarnate the woman he loved Ah Eum, with whom he successfully reunites at the end of season 1. Lee Yeon also has a younger brother Lee Rang (Kim Bum) - a half-blooded gumiho who never leaves a chance to put his elder brother in trouble as a form of revenge for abandoning him in the past.

Commenting on his character, Lee Dong Wook said, "I am happy and happy to be able to play Lee Yeon again." He further commented, "I am excited to be able to reshow a work that I worked hard for with the director and writer from last season".
