JTBC's upcoming weekend drama King the Land has unveiled its third teaser video, offering a glimpse of Gu Won (Lee Jun Ho), a sharp-witted and unyielding general manager at "King Hotel," who despises fake smiles.

The released video starts with Gu Won jumping out of an airplane with a parachute. He is not only the esteemed general manager of the prestigious King Hotel, but also possesses impeccable looks, intellect, and wealth, and basically has it all.

However, there are things he doesn't have: a housing subscription savings account, true happiness, and a love partner. His particularly quirky trait is that he distances himself from fake laughter to the extreme, only raising the corners of his mouth in response to the request to "smile," and he even goes as far as commanding others not to laugh because he finds it difficult to even see a genuine smiling face.

Gu Won's frosty demeanor, coupled with a lack of humor and wit, further hinders his pursuit of love. His blunders in the presence of Cheon Sarang (Im Yoon Ah), the kind and compassionate concierge, foreshadow the arduous journey that awaits this novice in matters of the heart.

To worsen the situation, Gu Won finds himself entangled in a moment where his acerbic words, such as "You'll be fired if you laugh" and "Even if you were resurrected, you wouldn't be my type," earn him the ire of Cheon Sarang.

Despite facing adversity, Gu Won summons his courage and tentatively approaches Cheon Sarang, asking, "Would you like to have dinner?" Her prompt rejection, accompanied by a curt "I don't want to," leaves Gu Won bewildered. This turn of events makes the drama a perfect rom-com brought by two of the most esteemed and talented performers.

The teaser video seamlessly depicts Lee Jun Ho's ability to portray the character. His portrayal effortlessly combines the charisma befitting a hotel's general manager with the subtle nuances of a man unaccustomed to the genuine smile.

King the Land will premiere on June 17. The K-drama will be available to watch on Netflix
