"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
According to a recent survey conducted by Good Data Corporation, Lee Jun Ho, the lead actor of JTBC's new weekend drama King the Land, has emerged as the most buzzworthy celebrity in the TV drama category in South Korea.
Good Data Corporation reveals that Lee Jun Ho shines with a score of 5,481 points. Sharing the spotlight is his co-star, Im Yoon Ah, who claimed the second position. Thanks to the excellent performances of the two leads, King the Land swiftly climbed to the second position in the TV-OTT drama category within its premiere week of broadcast.
Moreover, the K-drama can also be spotted ranking 9th on the list of TOP TV Shows on Netflix on June 19. The drama is topping Netflix charts in Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, etc.
Following closely behind, in the 3rd and 4th positions on the list of most-buzzworthy actors, are Chun Woo Hee and Kim Dong Wook, the lead actors of tvN's Delightfully Deceitful.
Furthermore, the actors of SBS's Dr. Romantic Season 3, Ahn Hyo Seop, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Han Seok Kyu secured the 5th, 6th, and 9th positions, respectively. Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun, who star in tvN's new weekend drama See You in My 19th Life, secured the 7th and 8th spots.
In regard to the most buzz-worthy dramas, the first and second places were taken by Dr. Romantic Season 3 and King the Land, respectively. Following them, are Bloodhounds, tvN's See You in My 19th Life, My Perfect Stranger, Delightfully Deceitful, Battle for Happiness, The Real Has Come!, Woman in a Veil, and Revenant.
The survey analyzed numerous sources, including news articles, blogs, videos, online communities, and social media platforms, focusing on the craze of TV dramas and OTT original dramas that aired from June 12 - June 18 or are scheduled to be aired soon.
