"Uncle Samsik" Drops Tiffany Young's Stills
Actress Lee Sung Kyung is confirmed to make a special appearance in Doctor Slump.
On February 11, the production team of JTBC's weekend drama Doctor Slump reported that Lee Sung Kyung will make a special appearance in episode 6 of the K-drama.
Actress Lee Sung Kyung, who worked with director Oh Hyun Jong on Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, will make an appearance as a high school classmate of Yeo Jeong Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye).
In the still cuts, Lee Sung Kyung can be seen wearing a high school uniform and speaking to Yeo Jeong Woo from across the desk partition.
Then, as she coincidentally meets him and Nam Ha Neul after 14 years, excitement and joy fill her eyes.
On the other hand, Nam Ha Neul seems displeased and crosses her arms as if she doesn't welcome this encounter at all. The stills spark curiosity as to how the three are intertwined and how Lee Sung Kyung's appearance will affect the relationship dynamics between Yeo Jeong Woo and Nam Ha Neul.
The production team said, "We would like to thank actress Lee Sung Kyung for accepting the offer to make a special appearance," and added, "As she has worked with actors Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye before, she made the atmosphere on set even more pleasant."
Episode 6 of Doctor Slump is set to air on February 11. Watch the K-drama on Netflix.
