Oh Eui Shik joins Lee Min Ki's new action thriller K-drama
Lee Sung Min and Ahn Bo Hyun are in talks to lead a new JTBC K-drama helmed by Reborn Rich director.
On March 29, several industry insiders shared that Lee Sung Min and Ahn Bo Hyun will work together in the upcoming historical K-drama titled Beads of God (literal translation).
Ahn Bo Hyun's side responded to the news. According to FN Entertainment, "Ahn Bo Hyun received the offer and he is currently reviewing the proposal. Meanwhile, Lee Sung Min's side hasn't given their statement yet.
Beads of God is a historical K-drama that showcases a team's love and friendship while they are searching for the country's holy relics.
Lee Sung Min got the offer to portray the role of a war veteran while Ahn Bo Hyun received the character of a convoy team commander.
Beads of God will be the collaboration work of director Jeong Dae Yun and writer Jung Hyun Min (The Tale of Nokdu)
The upcoming K-drama will most likely premiere on the broadcast channel JTBC.
If Lee Sung Min confirms his casting, this will be his fourth upcoming K-drama.
The top actor will also lead the upcoming series Won Gyeong, I'm Home, and Nine Puzzle.
Lee Sung Min is also joining the upcoming movie Handsome Guys with Lee Hee Joon, Gong Seung Yeon, Park Jeong Hwa, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Park Ji Hwan.
Meanwhile, this will possibly be Ahn Bo Hyun's third upcoming K-drama project. The actor will star in Haesi's Shinru and he will also return to the new season of Flex X Cop.
Ahn Bo Hyun will also lead his first-ever romantic comedy movie Pretty Crazy with Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah, Sung Dong Il, Joo Hyun Young, and Go Geon Han.
