Netflix Teases Season 2 of "Physical: 100"

Netflix's popular variety show Physical: 100 is returning for Season 2.

The global streaming service has officially confirmed the production of Physical: 100 Season 2. Since its release on January 24, the show has garnered immense attention, becoming the first Korean variety show to claim the top spot on the list of Netflix's global Top 10 TV shows in the non-English category. It has also secured a place in the Top 10 lists of 82 countries. With a viewing time of 109.63 million hours over six weeks, the show proved to be a heart-stealer for audiences worldwide.

Physical: 100 brings together participants from diverse backgrounds, including fighters, sportsmen, bodybuilders, firefighters, former UDT members, and more, each possessing extraordinary physical prowess. Through a series of demanding quests that test the participants' strength, endurance, agility, balance, and unwavering mental fortitude, the show offers a thrilling quest to find the best body. 

In Season 2 of Physical: 100, a new journey unfolds in search of the "best body" as 100 exceptional individuals, irrespective of age, gender, nationality, or weight class, compete once again. The upcoming season promises an even more immersive experience than its predecessor, with a grander scale and more meticulously designed quests. 

Director Jang Ho Ki expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received for Physical: 100. He emphasized that the production team has taken every comment and suggestion to heart, leading them to make a bold decision for Season 2 - to redefine the concept of the "most perfect physique" from scratch. 

He said, "We believe this is the only way to repay the viewers who showed great interest." He continued, "We have prepared a space even larger than two football fields, and we hope to invite even stronger participants whom we couldn't invite in the previous season due to circumstances. Furthermore, we are collaborating with numerous experts to design challenges that are more thrilling and awe-inspiring than in Season 1. The aim is not only to deliver a more entertaining and finely crafted show but also to present a substantial evolution of the first instalment that distinguishes itself in every aspect".
