Black Out will have its world premiere at the Rendez-vous (Out of Competition) section of the 7th Cannes International Series Festival, scheduled from April 5 to April 10.
Directed by Byun Young Joo and written by Seo Joo Yeon, Black Out is an adaptation of the international bestseller novel "Snow White Must Die" by Nele Neuhaus.
Black Out is a mystery drama that unravels the truth behind a decade-old mysterious murder case where the body was never found.
Although the details, such as the drama's streaming service or schedule for its release have not been confirmed yet, Black Out will have its world premiere at Canneseries.
Byun Yo Han plays the role of Go Jung Woo, a model student arrested on charges of murdering two female classmates. He tries to leave his hometown and start a new life after his release from prison but cannot do so due to strange incidents happening around him.
