Pyramid Game actress Jang Da A (22) has tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 26, the production team of the upcoming TVING series, Pyramid Game, stated, "Jang Da A has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to attend the press conference."
Jang Da A was scheduled to attend the press conference of Pyramid Game with other actors, including Kim Ji Yeon (Cosmic Girls's Bona), on February 26.
As it was her official debut as an actress, much anticipation was directed towards her; however, she decided against attending the K-drama's press conference due to being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Pyramid Game depicts a cruel survival game in which the students of class 2–5 of Baekyeon Girls' High School are divided into perpetrators, victims, and bystanders through a popularity poll, which happens once a month.
It is based on the webtoon of the same name and has garnered significant attention.
Pyramid Game will premiere on February 29. The K-drama will be available to stream on Paramount+.
