Crash Course in Romance's actress Roh Yoon Seo makes her big screen debut with Hear Me: Our Summer.
The remake of the Taiwanese film Hear Me, Hear Me: Our Summer follows Yong Jun (Hong Kyung), a part-timer at his parents' lunch box house, and Yeo Reum (Roh Yoon Seo), a woman living to support her hearing-impaired swimmer sister Ga Eul (Kim Min Ju).
In the K-movie, Yeo Reum is the eldest daughter who supports her hearing-impaired younger sister, a swimmer, while also taking on the responsibility of providing for both of their livelihood.
Although she supports her sister in every way possible to achieve her dream of winning an Olympic gold medal, Yeo Reum has never really thought about what she wants to do for herself. After meeting Yong Jun by chance, she begins to reflect more deeply on herself.
Roh Yoon Seo said, "When I read the script, I was captivated by how the film resonates [with young people] and the character of Yeo Reum. I immediately felt a strong desire to do well, and I thought I could show a new side of myself as an actress."
She continued, "Hear Me: Our Summer is a refreshing and sparkling movie, and you will be able to feel Yeo Reum's sincerity after watching it."
Hear Me: Our Summer will be released on November 6.
