The new Saturday-Sunday drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, which will premiere on July 29th, showcases the exhilarating and sweat-inducing hero story of Counters, supernatural monster hunters who have become stronger with new abilities and the addition of new members. They now confront even more malevolent ghosts on Earth.

Based on a webtoon with over 160 million views, The Uncanny Counter series delivered dynamic entertainment and thrilling catharsis through its concept of relentless ghost hunting. It achieved the highest viewership ratings in OCN's drama history.

On the 26th, the teaser video for The Uncanny Counter Season 2 was released. With the addition of the new Counter Na Jeok Bong (played by Yoo In Soo), the teamwork among the Counters is maximized, promising non-stop excitement with intense confrontations against stronger enemies.

The revealed teaser video opens with the back view of a Counter, dressed in a red tracksuit, walking amidst a crowd accompanied by siren sounds. It highlights the action-packed performance of the Counters, ghost hunters who have come to save 2023.

Summoning the energy of the soaring "Yung's Land," the character So Moon (played by Cho Byeong Kyu) displays incredible power. In contrast, Ga Mo Tak (played by Yoo Joon Sang) blocks a kindergarten bus rushing toward him with his arms wide open.

Detecting a ghost, Do Ha Na (played by Kim Se Jeong) fearlessly kicks and strikes the threatening entity, while Chu Mae Ok (played by Yeom Hye Ran) hurls a metal pipe at the kindergarten bus, piercing through the front window. The Counters' relentless pursuit of ghosts with their utmost strength delivers exhilarating thrills and excitement.

Furthermore, Na Jeok Bong, who wakes up from a coma, exudes an innocent charm, expressing his naivety with the question, "What is a Counter?"

With the determination to capture "those guys" and the ambition to "wipe them all out," Moon's aspiration aligns with the newly recruited Na Jeok Bong, who will further enhance the strength and resilience of the Counters. The audience is left curious about what abilities Na Jeok Bong will bring to the team.

In addition, new villains Pil Kwang (played by Kang Ki Young) and Wong Yeok (played by Kim Hyun Wook) emit a sinister ghost aura, intensifying the suspense. At the same time, the Counters confront them through thrilling ghost summoning.

The anticipation for The Uncanny Counter Season 2 rises with more powerful ghosts, enhanced Counters, overwhelming action sequences, and the introduction of new characters.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch will premiere on July 29th at 9:20 PM KST.
