Actress Kim Young Ok will officially be the main lead of the upcoming movie "Take Care of Mom." 

On March 2nd it was revealed that veteran actress Kim Young Ok will be leading the movie "Take Care of Mom." The film is confirmed to premiere this coming April. 

"Take Care of Mom" is a family-centered movie that will revolve around an 85-year-old elderly woman. The movie will be about the conflict and warmth of taking care of an old woman. It will showcase the relationship between parents and children and also the issues in supporting them. It will also reveal the true meaning of family in the society we are in nowadays. 

The upcoming film will be directed by Park Kyung Mok. Director Lee Hyung Deok ("Squid Game" and "Train To Busan") also participated in filming the movie.

Aside from Kim Young Ok, Kim Young Min and Park Sung Yun will also join the upcoming film. Lee Joo Mi and Lee Jung Eun ("Parasite") will make a special appearance. 

Kim Young Ok who is the oldest active female Korean actress will finally be the main lead role of a movie. After being in the industry for 65 years, she will finally shine on her movie. 

"Take Care of Mom" will be open to Korean theaters in April.

Kim Young Ok is known for being part of the dramas "Squid Game," "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "The King: Eternal Monarch," "The Most Beautiful Goodbye," "Dear My Friends," "Boys Over Flowers," "Coffee Prince," "Country Diaries," and more. 

She is known to international fans as the grandmother of top actors in dramas, especially Lee Min Ho

"Take Care of Mom" will be her comeback to the big screen after five years. She last starred in the 2017 film "Snowy Road."
