Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do Put Their Heads Together to Solve a Case in "Connection"
See You in My 19th Life is a highly anticipated drama based on Lee Hye's popular webtoon of the same name.
Lee Hye, the author of the original webtoon, expressed her amazement and excitement at seeing her work adapted into a drama. She said, "When I first became a webtoon author, I never thought my work would be adapted into a drama. I am still amazed and excited. I wonder how the scenes that were only drawn will be portrayed in the drama. I am excited because Director Lee Na Jung and the actors I admire so much are involved. Perhaps no one is looking forward to the first broadcast more than I am".
Regarding the cast of the K-drama, Lee Hye expressed her confidence in their acting skills and believed they would flawlessly embody the characters. She commented, "I had confidence that the actors, who are known for their excellent acting chops, would perfectly fit the roles. When I first visited the filming set, I thought, 'I was right'. Regarding Shin Hye Sun, I had imagined every aspect of Ban Ji Eum in her, including her manner of speaking and personality, so it was as if she embodied Ban Ji Eum. Even Ji Eum's height, which I had set at 173cm, matched perfectly with that of the actress. Ahn Bo Hyun lost 8kg for the character of Moon Seo Ha, and I was very grateful that he put in effort for the character. I'm excited to see the benign side of Ahn Bo Hyun, which I haven't seen before, and I'm looking forward to his portrayal of Moon Seo Ha".
She added, "Ha Yoon Kyung's portrayal resembled the rabbit-like charm of Yoon Cho Won. They both have a lovely atmosphere that exudes positive energy. I'm looking forward to seeing the lovely and strong-willed Yoon Cho Won. Ahn Dong Goo showed a completely different image from his previous work. I'm curious about how he will portray Ha Do Yoon, and I'm excited about it".
Lee Hye shared her special affection for each character. She emphasized her intention to bring happiness to all four characters despite their weaknesses. She concluded by urging fans to look forward to the drama's premiere and the performances of the talented cast as they bring the characters to life on the screen.
