"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
The upcoming fantasy rom-com Heartbeat has unveiled its third teaser video.
Heartbeat tells a delightful tale of a half-human, half-vampire Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon), who narrowly missed the chance to become fully human on a day that comes once in a hundred years; and a woman named Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), who lacks compassion and empathy despite being a human. The two end up living together and embark on a journey to discover the true meaning of humanity and warmth.
The recently released third teaser video, opens against the backdrop of the Joseon era, showing vampire Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon) and Na Hae Won (Yoon So Hee) desperately fleeing from an unknown pursuer. A voice in the background says, "Find the one who straddles the line between human and vampire. Their blood might bring immortality".
In a dramatic turn of events, Na Hae Won (Yoon So Hee ) is struck by an arrow, causing her to bleed and die, but not before expressing her determination to reunite by saying, "We will meet again. I will find you".
Switching to the present day, we see Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), who inherits a building from her father, making her way to the underground chamber. There, she stumbles upon a mysterious coffin. Upon opening it, she discovers Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon) in a deep slumber for nearly a century.
The video concludes with a shot of Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), gazing in disbelief at Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon). With a skeptical expression on her face, she questions, "A real vampire?". Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon) extends his hand to the astonished In Hae and tells, "Let's go home," setting the stage for an intriguing rom-com.
