Hi!
I'm looking for recommendations for a sci-fi movie whose plot might revolve around time travel or parallel universe or other strange phenomenon that the characters can't explain eg. Interstellar. Alien is okay if it's not horror. Eg. Arrival or Edge of Tomorrow.
I'm mentioning Hollywood movies as they might have been seen more widely and I'm new to Chinese/Asian cinema. But I did enjoy The Wandering Earth's concept.
Or if you can recommend some good thriller movies. Love the kinds with plot twists or good action sequences.
Not too fond of historical dramas or fantasy themes like characters flying in special caves (I believe it was a Jackie Chan film) or fighting strange creatures which are a few Chinese movies that I've seen in the past. I can't specifically recall their names. So not those kinds preferably.
Hope this isn't a very difficult ask.
