I have problems witch subtitels

I want to watch rare movie (koukou kyoushi 1993 not tv version)
I downloaded movie and subs.
but the subs are in 4 parts/files.
I made it into one big part with workshop subtitels, but the timing is totally bad. for example subtitels from midde of movie apear at beginning...
what should I do?
