@Shiki
I personally like Quartet more than A LIFE :)

And,, Totsuzen desu ga, ashita kekkonshimasu also good! So far I think it's better than tokyo tarareba musume
I still have some to start, but here are my favorite dramas so far:

1) Gekokujo juken: this drama deals with some serious issue about the Japanese educational system and I love dramas dealing with social aspects. It's a comedy, but the topic is serious.

2) Byplayers: it's funny... no, wait, it's completely crazy! I love it, but I guess it may be hard to understand if you know nothing about the actors.

3) Quartet: the first episode and the four main characters were intriguing. I really want to know more.

"A LIFE" is OK, but there's nothing original here. As for now, the taiga (Naotora) is also interesting... but I'm a taiga fan!
I've watched the first episode of Rental no Koi and it's quite good
@Kisugi
I started to watch Gekokujo juken after seeing your post, and it was good!

and,, tokyo tarareba musume is getting better!!! (^-^)
I agree with you two about Gekokujo Juken. Moreover, the fact the story takes place around a very young girl (11yo I think) is quite refreshing. It changes from the classic high school plot ^^
