Don't want to sound baised, but most of us only know the bands or artists that are popular in Japan in the majority vote, but we don't know the bands/artists that are also considerably as good as those bands/artists in the japanese
comunity. One of these songs is"東京" by JUJU. So recently watching a japanese trailer of a movie I wanted to watch that is only released in Japan called "祈りの幕が下りる時" (Inori no Maku ga Oriru Toki), I listened to a song played in the trailer that caught my attention. It was a slow pop song arranged with a piano song called "東京" by JUJU. Unfortunately there isn't a live performance video nor a music video on youtube or JUJU's channel yet, but one of my favorite japanese cover artists covered it and it sounds very good, the song and the japanese cover artist "Sano Hitomi" as well. Please listen to it, it sounds very soothing and the emotions in it is just so perfect in my opinion. There is a short variety show video on youtube featuring a short portion of JUJU singing "東京" but the rest is just intervieiwing and commentary. So I'll post the link to Sano Hitomi's cover of "東京", also the small portion of JUJU singing the song in the variety show, and the trailer of "祈りの幕が下りる時" if anyone is interested.
