Therefore, Xiao Yao wanted to see him one more time before he leftWhen she arrived to  the Tushan Family's residence at Ying Zhou Hill, servant in front the door reported that “Young Master Jing has gone out to buy things on the street…It is probably because he is about to pass leave, so he thought of buying some of the local things as souvenirs from Five Gods Mountains.

AS we can understand from this extract - the fun is mixed with tension:

"You say many things, I say many words. They looked like they were just talking randomly. But every word had hidden with a deep plan. "

Despite the cheerful atmosphere and seemingly casual conversation, there is an underlying tension or complexity due to the hidden agendas and strategic planning of the characters. The phrase "You say many things, I say many words" suggests that while the characters may appear to be engaging in light-hearted banter, each word they speak holds significance to all , and may point to  each character's  larger inner scheme or plan.

This tension adds depth to the scene, indicating that even amidst moments of enjoyment and camaraderie, there are underlying emotions, conflicts, ambitions, and motivations at play. The contrast between the surface-level joviality and the underlying complexity creates a sense of intrigue and keeps the reader engaged as they try to decipher the true intentions of the characters.

Extract:

Yi Ying  didn't care. Both hands lifted a goblet of liquor and brought it to Jing's lips. She said in a gentle voice, "Drink it" Jing sat frozen in the place, not moving, his face adorned with a forced smile. Everyone laughed loudly. Feng Long said, “Eh? Normally, I've never seen him shake things up. Today this already is happening.” Jing lowered his eyes and drank the entire goblet from Yi Yang. Zhuan Xu and Feng Long's hands clapping their hands while laughing. Feng Long praised: “Still a considerate sister-in-law!Hou clapped his hands and laughed loudlyYi Ying was stunned and cried one time with a beautiful smile blooms like a flower. Xiao Yao felt uncomfortable and her ears shrank. She kept eating the jade melon in one sitting until the dish was finished.

* In this interaction, Yi Ying offers Jing a drink: "Drink it". However, Jing's reaction suggests that he is uncomfortable and very hesitant about accepting it, as he sits frozen with a forced smile on his face. Despite his reluctance, he  drinks the entire goblet, to avoid further attention , to go along with the group's dynamic .

The reaction of the other characters, particularly Feng Long's surprised comment and subsequent praise for Yi Ying's consideration, indicates that this moment is unusual or unexpected for JingHis compliance with Yi Ying's gesture, despite his discomfort, is met with laughter and applause from the group, further highlighting the jovial tone is back in the atmosphere of the scene.

Xiao Yao's discomfort is evident in her reaction as well, as she tries to distract herself by eating the jade melon until the dish is finished. This suggests that she is all sensitive to the dynamics at play and feels quite uneasy about the situation involving Jing and Yi Ying.

Extract:

Feng Long used clean chopsticks to pick up the jade melon  and putting it on a small plate for Xiao Yao, and said in a low voice, “Just now, I saw you eat this first. I think it might be something you like. But you continue to eat very little. If it feels too far I'll help you pick it up.” Xiao Yao glanced at Jing for a moment.

* In this interaction, Feng Long demonstrates thoughtfulness and attentiveness towards Xiao Yao by offering her jade melon, a gesture that suggests he is considerate of her preferences. His observation of Xiao Yao's eating habits and his offer to help her if she feels uncomfortable indicate a level of care and concern for her comfort, and her person.

Extract:  Hou sat alone on the other side, opposite from Zhuan Xu.

The word "alone" emphasizes Hou's solitary position amidst the group, amplifying the sense of isolation and separation he experiences. It suggests that Hou feel disconnected from the others or excluded from their interactions, be it due to differences in status, personality, or agenda. This solitude symbolize his unique position /  perspective within the group dynamics, hinting at a potential divergence in goals or priorities compared to Zhuan Xu and the rest of the gathering. Furthermore, it foreshadow Hou's individualistic nature ,  his tendency to operate independently, indicating that he may not easily conform to group norms or expectations. Overall, the word "alone" deepens the characterization of Hou and sets the stage for further exploration of his role in the narrative.

-  It's interesting to have some of Cang Xuan insight on Tushan Hou, he share with Xiao Yao:

Text extract: “Because my circumstances and his have some similaritiesWe are both being patient.  We are waiting for an opportunity to attack and kill the opponent in one go. We all want to prove ourselves to everyone.”

Xiao Yao's expression turned grave.

Cang Xuan) acknowledgment of this shared desire with Hou, highlights the underlying competition mindset , and  their self-assertion within the narrative. It implies that both character are striving to distinguish themselves, prove their capabilities, and leave their personnal marks in the world they inhabit.

The repeated use of "we" in Zhuan Xu's statement suggests that he sees a parallel between his own situation and that of Tushan Hou. Despite being on opposite sides or having conflicting interests, Zhuan Xu recognizes commonalities in their approaches and mindsets. By using "we," Zhuan Xu is drawing a connection between himself and Tushan Hou, acknowledging shared traits or strategies that they both employ.

The shared circumstances of patience, strategic waiting, and the desire to prove themselves indicate that Zhuan Xu sees a similarity in the challenges and goals that he and Tushan Hou face. This shared experience creates a sense of kinship or silent  understanding between them, despite their adversarial positions.

By framing their situations as parallel and emphasizing the commonalities in their approaches, Zhuan Xu is  highlighting the complexity and nuance of their relationship. It suggests that there is more to their dynamic than just opposition or conflict, and that there is a level of respect or recognition between them based on their shared experiences and strategies.

Also:  he seems to have a somewhat cynical or detached perspective on the complex and  dangerous dynamics at play among the characters:

@Winny Aye:Zhuan Xu smiled narrowly and said: “Or don't you feel that this is also a part of the fun?

For me : It's cynical (knowing how far this mindset will playout later on).

It gives him a certain enjoyement. He likes it obviously. A trill. Competitive and dangerous sens of who's the one who will leave behind him the strongest mark of himself...Tushan Hou makes him vibe in a way.

TUSHAN HOU 's description through Xiao Yao's eyes:

She secretly observed Tushan Hou. She initially thought that although such a person would have an attractive face, his personality must have been low, but she didn't think that he was handsome beyond expectations, with his eyebrows and eyes. Boat scene ch14 - ep.20pics  -In DEPTH EXPLORATION-Analysis

Despite being surrounded by friends and seemingly safe on the boat, Xiao Yao's traumatic experience continues to linger in her mind, casting a shadow over her ability to find solace or enjoyment in the present moment.

Extract:

"Zhuan Xu smiled a little, and walked slowly , and then resolutely jumped in after her without delay. Xiao Yao picked up cup of liquor, collapsed on the ship's side, smiling She drank another sip. If it weren't for last night, she was forced to be soaked in the sea for a whole night by Xiang Liu, the devil who deserved to die, she wanted to jump down as well."

Xiao Yao's want to jump into the sea with  the group. They are fully enjoying themselves and she 'd like to swim with them. But she can't. It isolate her from the ongoing fun in water. She longs for the carefree enjoyment she used to experience while swimming. We see how, her traumatic experience with Xiang Liu has left her emotionally scarred, rendering her unable to face the water despite her usual affinity for it. This juxtaposition highlights the internal conflict within Xiao Yao as she grapples with her fresh past trauma (see ch 13 full covering) - and attempts to reconcile it with her desire for normalcy and enjoyment.
In this sentence we perceive in  insight  Xiao Yao's recollection of Xiang Liu's vile acts in Chapter 13 as having a negative impact on her psyche, to the extent that it prevents her from enjoying activities she previously loved: swimming. It fully reflects the profound trauma and distress caused by Xiang Liu's actions, which have left a lasting mark on Xiao Yao's mental and emotional well-being. The negative memories associated with Xiang Liu's behavior have created a barrier for Xiao Yao, preventing her from fully engaging in activities that would otherwise bring her joy .

This emphasizes the significant impact of trauma on individuals and highlights the lasting effects it can have on their lives.

=> Let's delve deeper into the development of Xiao Yao's character and her emotional state in this passage:

Emotional Vulnerability: Xiao Yao's collapse on the ship's side and her choice to seek solace in drinking indicate her emotional vulnerability. Despite her usual strength and resilience, the traumatic experience with Xiang Liu has left her feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope effectively. This vulnerability humanizes Xiao Yao and underscores the profound impact of trauma on her psyche.

Coping Mechanisms: Xiao Yao's resorting to drinking in this explicit context,  is a form of coping mechanism to numb her emotions and temporarily escape from her distressing thoughts. It reflects her struggle to find a sense of relief or distraction from the traumatic memories that continue to haunt her. This behavior highlights the complexity of her emotional response to trauma and the ways in which individuals may seek to cope with overwhelming feelings.

Internal Conflict: Xiao Yao's contemplation of jumping into the sea reveals the depth of her internal conflict. Her hesitation suggests a conflicting desire to survive and confront her trauma. This internal struggle reflects the complex nature of trauma recovery and the challenges associated with overcoming traumatic experiences.

Impact of Trauma: The passage underscores the lasting impact of trauma on Xiao Yao's emotional well-being. Despite her outward appearance of composure, she continues to grapple with the psychological effects of her ordeal. Her inability to engage in an activity she once found joy in, such as swimming, highlights the profound disruption that trauma can cause to one's sense of self and identity.

Because of  this faced  series of terrifying ordeals at the hands of Xiang Liu, including being thrown into the sea and forced to swim for her life amidst treacherous conditions, forced to kiss if she want to breath, drowned, facing death as she refuse => She grappled with the fear of drowning, the uncertainty of survival, and the psychological torment inflicted by Xiang Liu's manipulations. Additionally, Xiao Yao's fear to encounter with  sea beast and her desperate struggle to reach safety, such as swimming a whole night alone ( in what the writer named "the vicious mass"-  all contributed to the intense trauma she endured.

As a result, in chapter 14, Xiao Yao's psyche is deeply scarred by these traumatic experiences. Despite being surrounded by friends and engaging in seemingly enjoyable activities, she is unable to shake off the lingering effects of her ordeal. Her mind remains preoccupied with memories of her harrowing night in the sea, and she finds it challenging to fully immerse herself in the present moment related to simple jumping in waters.
In conclusion:  this passage provides insight into Xiao Yao's ongoing struggle to navigate the aftermath of trauma and regain a sense of equilibrium in her life. It highlights the complexity of her emotional response and the profound impact that trauma can have on an individual's sense of self and well-being.

Thankfully , as they jumped in the sea - There is one person who  stayed , one man is here for her. Cang Xuan will take full note of it by his expression, before being abruptly pushed in water by Xing Yue in the drama covering...

Extract:"Jing walked quietly behind her. Xiao Yao turned over and slipped to sit down on the ship deck, and sarcastically said “Do you dare to come near to me now?”
Analysis: Xiao Yao's sarcastic remark, "Do you dare to come near to me now?" - indicates her awareness of Jing's need to maintain a certain facade or restraint in front of the group. Despite this understanding, her sarcasm suggests a hint of bitterness and frustration, implying that she  feel hurt  by Jing's perceived distance and  lack of overt affection in public settings. This remark reflects Xiao Yao's desire for more genuine and intimate interactions with Jing, even if it means confronting uncomfortable emotions or tensions between them.
Extract:

Jing picked up a small bag of herbs, pointed it at Xiao Yao's nose, giving her a sharp edge. Xiao Yao said. “You haven't forgotten what I taught you.”
 "Forever, never to be forgotten"

You saw you are very good to me. Do you feel torture in your heart?
He was silent for a moment. Then he said to her, "It's very painful."
Xiao Yao laughed out. “I heard that you were suffering, it makes me feel very good.”
Analysis - By teasing Jing about his inner turmoil and expressing amusement at his suffering, Xiao Yao is subtly acknowledging the underlying tension and longing that exists between them. This playful banter serves as a means of communication between them, allowing them to navigate their complex emotions . Overall, Xiao Yao's words carry a hint of intimacy and vulnerability, inviting Jing to reflect on his feelings and desires in their relationship.

We perceive in this short extract how both of them - in COOPERATION - are understanding each other, and succesfully breaking each other discomfort.

This very short  passage brilliantly  illustrates how simple gestures and shared memories can bring comfort and relaxation to Jing and Xiao Yao's relationship.

Here's a breakdown of the elements contributing to their relaxation:

  • The Herbal SachetThe act of Jing picking up the small bag of herbs triggers a fond memory for both of them. It symbolizes their shared experiences and the bond they've formed over time. The scent of the herbs likely evokes pleasant emotions and reminds them of moments spent together, fostering a sense of ease and familiarity.

  • Shared Memories: Jing's response, "Forever, never to be forgotten," reinforces the significance of their shared memories and highlights the enduring nature of their bond. It suggests that their connection is deep-rooted and holds special meaning for both of them.

  • Emotional VulnerabilityJing's admission of feeling pain in his heart reflects his willingness to be emotionally vulnerable with Xiao Yao. This openness strengthens their emotional connection and allows them to support each other through difficult moments.

  • Humor and Laughter: Xiao Yao's playful response to Jing's pain demonstrates their ability to find humor even in challenging situations. Her laughter serves as a coping mechanism, easing the tension and creating a lighthearted atmosphere between them. His act of making a herbal sachet for her, a skill that Xiao Yao taught him when she was in her male form as Xiao Liu, holds significant emotional resonance for both characters. This shared experience serves as a powerful symbol of their bond and the intimacy they share. We see that his first respons is to lessen her discomfort.

As Xiao Yao, witness  that Jing engaged in an activity that she taught him , it instantly evokes a sense of re- connection. It reminds her of their time together and the moments they shared as Xiao Liu and Yeshiqi.
As she knows that for  Jing, making the herbal sachet evoke sweet memories and the time they spent freely together. It symbolizes their shared experiences. By engaging in this activity, Jing is expressing his appreciation for Xiao Yao's teachings and the impact she have on his life.
This passage underscores the importance of shared experiences, emotional intimacy, and humor in fostering relaxation and strengthening the bond between Jing and Xiao Yao.

Chapter 14 - Extract:

"Fang Yi Ying will be a good wife to you. You and her are very suitable for each other.”

The rosy blood on Jing's face gradually faded.Xiao Yao only felt that in her heart she was extremely uncomfortable. Suddenly she felt a stir inside her, turbulent like waves. She hurriedly stood up, collapsed on the bow of the boat, and vomited.

Analysis :
Xiao Yao's statement about Fang Yi Ying being a suitable wife for him, suggests a sense of provocation on her part. She is attempting to suppress her own feelings for Jing by encouraging him to pursue a relationship with someone else....However, her subsequent discomfort and physical reaction - vomiting and feeling extremely uncomfortable -  all indicate that her words are nothing else but a facade to mask her true emotions.
The interesting point, is that at that very moment , we have some  insight on precious memory that are back in her mind, as she recall this moment:
Extract:....Xiao Liu felt like he was dead, so he used his hand to hold his throat, and felt his pulse. Then Xiao Liu slowly believed that he was still alive. Xiao Yao only felt that in her heart she was extremely uncomfortable.Suddenly she felt a stir inside her, turbulent like waves. She hurriedly stood up, collapsed on the bow of the boat, and vomited.

As this memories resurface, it tell us how those stem from the realization of the depth of her feelings for Jing, starting back than while as Xiao Liu, she was checking anxiously his pulse. The fear of losing him completly (felt like he was dead) / felt back then extremly unconfortable- unconfortable enough for a doc to remember it till this very day, this moment- just as she struggle enough to feel" a stir inside her" ...this memory come as in time to remind of the fragility of one's  life and the importance of cherishing the moments spent with loved ones.
Overall, the recollection of this scene allows Xiao Yao to confront her inner turmoil and vulnerability, prompting her to reevaluate her feelings and priorities in her relationship with Jing. It highlights the depth of her emotions , complexities of their connection,  and underscore the significance of their bond in her life. The sentence pronounced by her - implies - as she understand by her inner thoughts (memories) -If she lose him to FFYY- if she really let him die in his heart, letting him go - it make her feel bad enough to vomit. It's a physical expulsion of that thought.
Jing's embarrassment, indicated by the fading of rosy blood on his face, suggests that he have fully interpreted Xiao Yao's comment as a rejection or confirmation of  their distance. However, Jing's first attention, first respons - is to provide her comfort. Gentleness always come first with Jing.

Extract: "Xiao Yao suddenly hugged Jing's waist. Then she muttered, “This afternoon today, I actually went to see you. If you don't believe me, you can go back and ask the guard at the door. I went to look for you, but I couldn't find you, so I wandered around on the street."

Xiao Yao slowly moved a little, muttering, “Shi Qi.” She was startled and opened her eyes. Jing smiled looking at her. Xiao Yao said. "I seem to have fallen asleep for a while."

Analysis of this passage:
One might wonder why not calling him Jing. The answer is simple : the context :) An hour ago she deeply struggled with memories  that stemed from the realization of the depth of her feelings for Jing, starting back than while as Xiao Liu, she was checking anxiously his pulse, making her realise his importance into her life and the importance to not loose him , be it for FFYY.  The  referencing "Shi Qi" in this context invokes memories of a time when Xiao Yao and Jing were carefree and less burdened by the complexities of their both current situation. "Shi Qi" represents a period of innocence and joy in their relationship, before they were forcibly separated and  facing the challenges they now encounter.

It reflects her subconscious desire to recapture the happiness and comfort they once shared, before the weight of their  responsibilities as Xiao Yao the Elder Princess and Tushan Jing intervened.

Jing said to Xiao Yao: “I don't have feelings for Yi Ying. Yi Ying definitely doesn't have kindness for me. This time after getting back, I will talk to Grandma to cancel it. I will talk to her to break marriage contract."she slowly replied. “How do you know? She is so gentle and pleasing you so much..."
Jing cut off her words and said, “Xiao Yao, I have seen many women who have feelings for me. So I know clearly that when a woman truly has feelings for a man, how she will look at the man, with what kind of eyes? No matter how Yi Ying's actions gentle and pleasing, but she never looked at me with those eyes. Besides, right now I..." Jing stroked the sideburns of Xiao Yao, gently, “I know the feeling of wanting someone so intensely. I am surely not wrong in telling the difference!”

Further extract -Xiao Yao and Jing's dialogue :

Xiao Yao suddenly thought of something, so she sat up happily and said, “Since she doesn't need you, You can come back and be my Shi Qi!” Her eyes shone brightly. At that time, you were worried that if you didn't go back, that crazed Tushan Hou is going to hurt me, Luo Mu and other, weren't you? But Wen Xiao Liu had already disappeared. Now that I am princess of Gao Xing,  Tushan Hou cannot harm me. You can be with me as Shi Qi at my side.”

Jing watched Xiao Yao quietly and did not speak. In his eyes there was sadness and sorrow. Xiao Yao, who had gradually calmed down, sarcastically said to herself: “I said something stupid again, right?” Jing had disappeared once before. If it happened again, it wouldn't be only Hou, but the Madam of Tushan clan, definitely wouldn't give up until the corpse was found.
Jing said in a low voice. “You didn't say anything stupid. Only some things have changed. After I had gone back, I discovered that the elder brother was leading the family Tushan going into danger. If I leave like this I'm afraid that he will destroy the entire Tushan family. Xiao Yao, can give me a little time? Let me think of a way to put everything in the right state.

The truth was that it was not only the survival of the entire family. But there were some things that he couldn't say. If the person in front of him was still Wen Xiao Liu, then he could be Ye Shi Qi. That was enough. They could hid and lived in a small village. They could live together for a lifetime. But she was Gao Xin's princess. When he saw the grand worshipig ceremony, he immediately understoodThey couldn't go back to the way they were before. An eligible man to protect Xiao Yao by his side would definitely not be a shrink. If he wanted to be beside Xiao Yao for the rest of his life, he must cancel the marriage contract. He needed to be using Tushan's status walking majestically to Xiao Yao's side.

Xiao Yao smiled slightly and said in a soft voice: “You have fifteen years, Jing, how do you plan to handle it?”

“I don't know, but I know that I will definitely return to your side. Because I had promised to listen to you words for the rest of my life, so…”

Xiao Yao's Proposal: Xiao Yao's suggestion that Jing return to her as Shi Qi reflects her longing for their past connection and the comfort she finds in their bond. It shows her desire to have Jing by her side in a familiar role, where she feels safe and protected. Her happiness and excitement at the prospect are evident in her bright eyes and enthusiastic tone.

Jing's Response: Jing's silence and the sadness in his eyes indicate his internal struggle and the weight of his responsibilities. He recognizes Xiao Yao's longing but is burdened by the realization that their circumstances have changed. His concern extends beyond just their safety to the welfare of his family and the Tushan clan, adding layers to his decision-making process. He want to honor her
as stated: "He needed to be using Tushan's status walking majestically to Xiao Yao's side."
Notice also :

By using his status within the Tushan clan, Jing also aims to rectify the chaos caused by Hou's actions. Hou's reckless behavior has put not only Xiao Yao but also the entire Tushan family in jeopardy. Therefore, Jing recognizes the importance of addressing and resolving the consequences of Hou's mistakes.
As a member of the Tushan clan, Jing holds a certain level of authority and influence that can be instrumental in restoring stability and order within the clan. By leveraging his position, Jing can take steps to mitigate the damage caused by Hou's actions, protect the interests of the Tushan family, and ensure that they remain strong and respected within their community.

Furthermore, Jing's efforts to clean up the mess left by Hou also reflect his sense of duty and responsibility to his family and his commitment to upholding their honor and reputation. By taking decisive action to address the challenges facing the Tushan clan, Jing demonstrates his leadership qualities and his determination to safeguard the well-being of those under his care.

His concern as Tushan Jing and Hou's driving the clan in danger is not a small mather:

Political Instability: Hou's erratic behavior and potential involvement in dangerous schemes create political instability within the Tushan clan and the broader realm. His misactions are highly probable  lead to internal conflicts, power struggles, and a loss of trust among clan members. This instability not only weakens the Tushan clan's influence but also undermines its ability to govern effectively and maintain stability in the region.

Reputation Damage: The Tushan family's reputation suffer as a result of Hou's actions. His  reckless behavior reflects poorly on the clan's leadership and integrity, potentially tarnishing its standing in the eyes of other noble families, allies, and the general population. This damage to the Tushan family's reputation have far-reaching consequences, including a loss of respect, trust, and support from allies and subjects.

Economic Consequences: Hou's actions  have economic repercussions for the Tushan family and its affiliated territories. Instability and conflict can disrupt trade routes, agricultural production, and other economic activities vital to the clan's prosperity. This disruption could lead to financial losses, impoverishment, and hardships for the Tushan family and all the communities under its jurisdiction.

In short = Jing's intention to use his status within the Tushan clan to clear up the mess left by Hou underscores his sense of responsibility and his dedication to protecting both Xiao Yao and his family's legacy. The drama added these lines, that perfectly alignes with his rightousness and her expressed will.

These are just few exemples to give a clearer perception of Jing's duties, cleaning Hou's mess as ruler.

Jing's Dilemma: Jing's inner conflict becomes apparent as he grapples with the tension between his personal desires and his obligations to his family and clan. He acknowledges that while he wishes more than everything to be with Xiao Yao, he also recognizes the larger implications of his actions. For Xiao Yao, Jing represents more than just a protector; he is a cherished companion and confidant, someone with whom she shares a profound connection.

Furthermore - Xiao Yao's desire to have Jing by her sidespeaks to the depth of their relationship and the importance of their emotional connection to each other. Her happiness and excitement underscore the significance of Jing's presence in her life.
She seek the free of burdains Jing, yet she is not free herself as Princess, she is not Xiao Liu anymore either. And she understand.
Her desire for Jing to return to her as Shi Qi reflects a longing for the freedom and intimacy they once shared, a time when they were both unencumbered by societal expectations and roles. As Princess of Gao Xing, Xiao Yao is bound too by the responsibilities and constraints of her position and family, unable to fully embrace the carefree existence she experienced with Jing in their past.

While Xiao Yao may not be able to return to her former identity as Xiao Liu, she still seeks a sense of liberation and authenticity in her relationship with Jing. By inviting Jing to reclaim his role as Shi Qi, she is expressing a desire to recapture the closeness and companionship they once enjoyed, unencumbered by the expectations and obligations that come with their current circumstances. However, Xiao Yao's recognition of the changes that have occurred underscores her awareness of the complexities of their situation. She understands that their past dynamic may no longer be feasible given their altered circumstances and the responsibilities they now bear. Despite this awareness, her longing for Jing's presence remains strong, prompting her to seek a compromise that allows for the preservation of their connection in a meaningful way.
Xiao Yao smiled slightly and said in a soft voice: You have fifteen years, Jing, how do you plan to handle it?Despite the uncertainties and obstacles they  encounter, Xiao Yao expresses her readiness to stand by Jing's side and support him throughout his journey. This willingness to wait reflects her deep affection and trust in Jing, as well as her belief in their ability to overcome any challenges together.

Overall, Xiao Yao's words convey her patience, loyalty, and enduring love for Jing, reaffirming her commitment to their relationship and her willingness to wait for him

In essence, Xiao Yao's invitation for Jing to return to her as Shi Qi represents a yearning for the simplicity and authenticity of their past relationship, even as she acknowledges the impossibility of fully returning to that time. It reflects her desire to find a balance between her present reality and her longing for the emotional connection and freedom she associates with Jing.@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

ZHUAN XU (CX) and XIAO YAO chapter 14 ending exchange. ON SINCERITY.

Extract:
Xiao Yao asked curiously. How do men like you distinguish between women who are sincere or fake? Even if it's sincere, how can you know what kind of sincerity this is? You must know that sincerity can be divided into many types. Some sincerity must not have obstacles at all. Some sincerities can pass eighty obstacles. But by the eighty one time, she had given up and couldn't continue. Some sincerities can only share in suffering. Some sincerity can only be shared in happiness. Some sincerities are normally invisible, but when there is danger, they show clearly. Some sincerity in normal times can be respected and protected. But when danger comes, everyone is different. In this world there are many men and women who live together until old age. The truth may not be that they love each other with one heart... A love that cannot be broken but just haven't found any proof."

Zhuan Xu laughed, "Your long words are hurting my brain. You ask me how to make specific distinctions. There's nothing to tell. It's just a feeling. A cold heart. A pair of cold eyes. When you've had a lot of experience, you'll see. It's clearly visible.”
Xiao Yao asked. “What if it is wrong? If it looked at it wrong, there is the sincerity of being able to overcome obstacles only eighty-one times. It's sincerity that over a hundred obstacles, remains unchangable. Thousands of dangers cannot ties?”
Zhuan Xu said gently. “How to guarantee that you will definitely not go wrong, you already know. That is one cold heart.”
Xiao Yao smiled and wrinkled her nose. “I still think you have a better way!”
“I don't have one, and I think even that our grandfather, who are so coldly intelligent and scared people of ours doesn't have the means to truly see people's hearts.”

This dialogue between Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu delves into the complexities and the difficulty in discerning true sincerity. Xiao Yao's question reflects her contemplative nature and her understanding that sincerity is not a monolithic concept but can manifest in various forms. She elucidates the nuances of sincerity, describing how it can be tested by obstacles, revealed in moments of danger, or remain steadfast despite adversity.

Zhuan Xu's response, though somewhat dismissive of Xiao Yao's complexity, underscores the intuitive nature of discerning sincerity. He suggests that experience and intuition play a crucial role in gauging the authenticity of someone's intentions. Zhuan Xu's mention of a "cold heart" as a safeguard against being misled emphasizes the importance of emotional detachment and critical judgment in navigating relationships.

Xiao Yao's insistence on finding a more concrete method for discernment reflects her desire for certainty and security in her interactions with others. However, Zhuan Xu's admission that even the wise and perceptive Yellow Emperor may not possess such insight highlights the inherent ambiguity and subjectivity of human emotions and motivations.

The mention of the ancestors' graves and the impending anniversary of Uncle's death adds a poignant layer to the conversation, highlighting the weight of familial obligations and the passage of time. Xiao Yao's tears suggest a deep emotional connection to her family and a sense of longing for the past.

This dialogue between CX and XY - on sincerity and love: is  echoing ep 14 dialogue in DragonBone Prison - between Jing and Xiao Yao :" I am a cruel person, I am cruel to others and even more cruel to myself." And  Jing showed how he really knows her:" I know you won't give you hope, you won't trust first, you won't invest first, Sang Tian'er is willing to gamble her whole life with false feelings, but Even if you are sincere, if the other person doesn't cherish it, you will give it up. I'm willing to wait for you to want it
I know you won't give yourself hope, you won't trust first, you won't invest first."

Chapter 15: Recapturing About The Past Is Really Painful (Thai version translated by me) Part 1

When the spring wind blew across the land of Zhong Yuan,The Grand Princess of Gao Xing sent a message to Huang Di(Yellow Emperor) requesting that she desire to go to Xuan Yuan to pay respects her mother, who was buried as far away as Mount Xuan Yuan. To express gratitude on the anniversary of her mother's death, and also wished to be at Haung Di's (Yellow Emperor) side, as to show her fulfilling gratitude instead of her mother, even if it was just a little.

The Princess's message was written by her own hand. Personal seal of the princess was stamped on. Sun Di (Grand Emperor) sent a special envoy to deliver it to Huang Di(Yellow Emperor).

After Huang Di(Yellow Emperor) read the message. Then he had his servant read the message in front of all the officials. According to the principles of kindness and reason, no one could object to a daughter's request to come pay homage to her mother and meet her grandfather. Therefore, all the nobles could only discuss one thing: how to welcome Princess of Gao Xing. If she were only Gao Xing's princess? Returning is not difficult to manage.

But she didn't. just being Gao Xing's princess. She is also Huang Di's (Yellow Emperor) granddaughter.

Her mother also fought and sacrificed herself for Xuan Yuan.
As a result, the greater the arrangement, the better, though without exceeding the limits of the regulations. When the peach blossoms bloomed throughout the land of Zhong Yuan (Middle Plains), Xiao Yao departed from the Five Gods Mountains. Zhuan Xu, as Xiao Yao's cousin. Under her request, he accompanied her and traveled to Mount Xuan Yuan together.

On the twenty-third day of the second month of spring Xiao Yao arrived to Xuan Yuan City. Xiao Yao's two uncles, Xuan Yuan Qing Lin and Xuan Yuan Yuyang brought Xiao Yao's five subordinates and all the nobles to welcome her after a long commotion, Qing Lin said to Xiao Yao:

"The ambassadors had to be welcomed at the Tang Yuan Throne Hall. But father was old and had difficulty in moving. For many years, he was tired of meeting people, Your Uncle 7 will organize a reception for the ambassadors. Father will not meet them. He will just waiting to meet you at Zhao Yun Palace.”

Xiao Yao smiled and said, “Fine, then Uncle please take me to pay respects to Grandpa.”

 Qing Lin said, “Princess, come!”
Many of Lin's servants kept Zhuan Xu outside as if it's inadvertently showing that no one saw that Zhuan Xu should also go to Mount Xuan Yuan. Xiao Yao stood in front of the cloud carriageand asked, “Brother Zhuan Xu, aren't you going together?”

Qing Lin smiled kindly and said, “Father didn't call to see Zhuan Xu. We have already prepared a place to stay for Zhuan Xu. Princess, don't worry.”
One of his subordinates, whose name Xiao Yao couldn't remember, smiled and said. “Sister, trust me. We will accompany big brother.”

Xiao Yao smiled a bit. Then she walked towards Zhuan Xu. Xuan Yuan soldiers thought of blocking her. Xiao Yao smiled as she stared at them as if she was asking, "You guys dare to block me?”

As for the Gao Xing guards who followed Xiao Yao, were holding weapons at hands already. While everyone was hesitating Xiao Yao walked to the front of Zhuan Xu, holding Zhuan Xu's hand. Then she looked up and said to Cang Lin, “When I was at Chao Yun Peak, I only had Brother Zhuan Xu as my friend. If my brother doesn't go with me, then I won't go!”

At that Lin smiled and said. “It's not that Uncle wants to prevent you, but because, Father, his majesty had not called him. We don't dare make arbitrary decisions.”
“If Grandpa is going to punish you. I must be responsible. Uncle, don't worry!” Xiao Yao pulled Zhuan Xu towards the cloud carriage. Two of Xuan Yuan soldiers  blocked them, preventing Xiao Yao from getting into the carriagre. Xiao Yao stared at Cang Lin. “Brother Zhuan Xu really can't go?”

Cang Lin said. “Princess, please forgive me!” Xiao Yao's expression immediately became serious. She gave a loud command to all of Gao Xing's soldiers: “Since Xuan Yuan doesn't welcome me, Then let's go back to Gao Xing now!” With that, she dragged Zhuan Xu and walked over.

Gao Xing's guard hurriedly cleared the way, lining up the procession neatly. She was really thinking of going back to Gaoxin right away. Cang Lin saw that Xiao Yao did not look like she was pretending. He became agitated and said, “Princess, don't be so nonsense!”

Xiao Yao was enraged. She raised her voice and shouted loudly, “Am I on a nonsensical rampage? Would someone be willing to travel tens of thousands of miles to do nonsense? I am Gao Xin's eldest princess. What things can't be done at Gao Xin? My mother went to war and sacrificed her life for the Xuan Yuan people. I traveled ten thousand miles to pay homage to my mother. I sincerely wanted to come and pay my respects to my grandfather.

I just want the older brother I've known since childhood to be my company. The Xuan Yuan soldiers blocked me from getting into the carriage instead. I want people throughout the world to see and decide decide whether I'm a reckless mess. Or does Xuan Yuan have some manners?”

Who would have thought that Xiao Yao's personality would be this hot tempered? To the point of shouting loudly like a village woman at a market stall. If Xiao Yao were to leave today like this, then travel and spread the word. He must be cursed by the people. His father would definitely be angry.  Cang Lin could only restrained and said comfortingly, “Princess has misunderstood. I guarantee that no one will dare to block the princess from getting into the carriage.”

Xuan Yuan soldiers all retreated to the side. Xiao Yao saw that she had achieved her desired goal, so stopped. She dragged Zhuan Xu onto the cloud carriage. She waited until the cloud carriagr soared up into the clouds, then Xiao Yao looked towards Zhuan Xu. Zhuan Xu held her hand tightly, his lips pressed together. Two hundred years ago, he was at a young age under the pressure of four great uncles. He had to leave Xuan Yuan Mountain alone. At that time he stood at the bow of the ship, turning to look at Chao Yun Peak, which was slowly disappearing from view. He swore in his heart that "I must come back!"

The cloud carriage stopped. The maids invited the princess to get out of the carriage.

Zhuan Xu and Xiao Yao got out of the carriage and looked up at the tagging on the residence  with the three large letters on it. "Chao Yun Residence" It was Grandma's handwriting. He couldn't help but spoke as he looked up at the sign in front ," Grandma, Father, I've returned! I've been wandering and wandering. I was in foreign land for more than two hundred years. I have returned! I've made you all wait a long time!"

Xiao Yao looked up at the sign. More than three hundred years ago in this palace, it used to be filled with happy laughter from her and her close relatives. On today's return, only her and Zhuan Xu were left.

Zhuan Xu's eyes flashed for a moment. The two walked together, stepping through the palace door.

Xiao Yao's face was expressionless and walked very slowly. Zhuan Xu followed behind her. He himself walked slowly. Xiao Yao walked into the front palace. There was a thin old man. His face was full of wrinkles. A man with a white beard and white hair leaned on a stand. He was closing his eyes and sleeping like he was very tired. Hearing Xiao Yao's footsteps, he opened his eyes, looking towards Xiao Yao with eyes that are still as sharp as before.

Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu didn't know why. They recalled the time when Grandma was sick and close to death. In their hearts, they suddenly felt sad. They knelt down. Unexpectedly, they both said together, “Granddaughter and grandson have returned.”
Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) raised his hand slightly. “Come here.”

After Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu bowed three times, slowly they got up and walked to Huang Di's stand. Xiao Yao was easy going as she was accustomed to. So she sat down on his stand. Zhuan Xu, on the other hand, stood humbly.

Huang Di (yellow emperor) looked at Xiao Yao and said. “Your face is nothing like your mother, except for the facial structure. The mouth and chin are like Grandma's. It's exactly the same as when I met her.”
In Xiao Yao's memories, Grandma's face was dry. full of wrinkles So he won't know if it's the same or not. She only smiled a bit.
Huang Di (Yellow Emperor) seemed to take Xiao Yao's thoughts away and said, “Your grandma was once a young woman just like you. Her beauty and abilities were once a sensation throughout Da Huang. Many excellent young men thought of asking for her hand in marriage. It's a pity that she chose the wrong person.”

Xiao Yao froze. She didn't know what should be said. She couldn't say that Grandma really married wrongly. Moreover, she didn't want to say that Grandma didn't marry wrongly. Because she also felt that Grandma and Grandpa probably didn't get along for many years before Grandma died. Grandfather never came to see Grandma. Or to say it correctly, except for the time Grandpa held a sword and thought about killing mother at that time, Xiao Yao had never seen her grandfather at Chao Yun Residence before. Until after Grandma passed away Grandpa was seriously injured and moved to Chao Yun Residence. Xiao Yao's silence was like accepting Huang Di's words, but Huang Di(Yellow Emperor) didn't care, still smiling softly, looking at Xiao Yao.

Huang Di (Yellow Emperor) looked at Juan Su and the smile faded. It wss not as gentle and kind as when looking at Xiao Yao. Instead, a stern look appeared. Zhuan Xu didn't lower his head. He just close his eyes slightly, letting Huang Di(Yellow Emperor) explored the look as he liked. After a long  while, Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) said: “I still think you were so enchanted by Gao Xing's beauty that you forgot how to return.”

Zhuan Xu knelt down and said, “I (Grandson), made Grandpa wait a long time.”
“For what reason did you come back?”
Just as Zhuan Xu was about to answer, Huang Di (Yellow Emperor) said: “Think carefully and then answer me. I want to hear the words hidden in your heart.”

Zhuan Xu was silent for a moment. He looked into Huang Di's (Yellow Emperor) eyes, and then openly said “I want Mount Xuan Yuan. And there is another reason. Maybe Grandpa doesn't believe it. But I really want to see Grandpa.”

“I know.”

Huang Di (Yellow) lowered his eyes slightly and said, “Don't blame me for being mean. If you don't rely on your abilities to get it. Even if I give it to you, you won't be keep it.”
" I (your grandchild) understands"

Huang Di (Yellow Emperor) continued: “You guys go get some rest. I live in the room that Grandma lived in before. The remaining rooms were all empty. Wherever you want to be, you take it. I don't like the noisy sound of people. There were very few maids in the palace. If you guys are not used to it..."

Xiao Yao interjected. “There's nothing I'm not used to. When Grandma was still alive There were only a few maids. I remember that the grass behind the palace was about as tall as I was. My brother and I also like to play hide and seek there.”
While closing his eyes smiling, he waved at them to leave.

Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu retreated quietly from the main palace. The two walked along the red balcony, detour past the front palace. They arrived at the palace next to where they used to live. In the middle of the wide courtyard, there is a tall guppies tree. The shoots break off and fall together. Blossoms were red like flames. Everything was similar to that time. But the swing that got the tree had disappeared without a trace.

Xiao Yao's expression drifted, walking as she was being in a dream. A wave of hair came. The rain of flowers falls Xiao Yao stretched out her hand and got a flower. She pulled out the pollen and put it in her mouth to suck the nectar.

She smiled as she turned around and spoke to Zhuan Su. “Brother, it is just as sweet as before.” She handed a flower to Zhuan Xu. Zhuan Xu took a bite and put it in his mouth. Behind them were two maids following. One was Shan Hu who had followed Xiao Yao to Xuan Yuan. Another person wa assumed that he had received an order to serve Zhuan Xu. His name was San Sen (Mullberry).

Shan Hu asked, “Princess, are you staying here?”
“Get it here.” Xiao Yao pointed. “I will stay in this room. My brother will stay in that room." Shan Hu went in to look around once and said, “Although the decorations are very simple, But there must always be someone coming to clean it up, so it's very clean. All blankets are all new. There were some dirty areas inside the courtyard. Wait for me (servant) to sweep up these fallen flowers. It will look cleaner."

Xiao Yao said. “No need to sweep! When I was young it will take four or five days to sweep once. Those fallen flowers are not swept away. Grandma would make a pile at the base of the tree. Let them gradually rotted into the ground.” Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu sat under the balcony. They were silent and did not speak, just looking at the guppies in silence.

Shan Hu knew the princess' personality well. So she didn't mess with her again. I myself was in chaos. Shan Hu is a bold and sweet-tongued person. Soon she was chatting pleasantly with San Sen. With San Sen's guidance both of them had prepared bathing water for their master.

Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu were already accustomed to taking care of themselves. So he didn't let them serve him. They took  shower and changed their own clothes, After, waiting until both of them are finished showering, Shan Hu and San Sen brought dinner. Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu then sat and ate dinner under the balcony. After finishing eating Xiao Yao sent Shan Hu and San Sen to rest.

As for her and Zhuan Xu, they walked along the small path behind the mountains. The mulberry forest behind the mountain was still as fertile as before, just like when Grandma was still alive. Xiao Yao looked up at the mulberry tree and said, “After a time, you can eat the mulberries.”

“Aunt liked to eat frozen mulberries. At that time they were still at Five Gods Mountain. I have never met Uncle and you before. But when Grandma saw the mulberry, she muttered, “Your aunt liked to eat frozen mulberries the most. Five Gods Mountain probably won't have any good mulberries. Wheb we're done, I'll have someone take it and deliver it to your aunt.” I also helped Grandma pick the mulberries, and make frozen mulberry together"

Xiao Yao smiled sweetly and said, “Every year, someone sends mother frozen mulberries. Mother was worry that she did not dare to eat much. Every day just pick it up eat one small plate. Because it has a cool, sweet, and sour taste. The weather was hot. So I like to eat too. Every time I had to compete with my mother to eat. I feel like I don't have enough to eat. So she sent her maid to pick mulberries and make frozen mulberries. But no matter what we did, it didn't taste like what Grandma sent us."

Zhuan Xu smiled softly and said. “Wait until the mulberries are able to eat this year, I will make for you eat. I guaranteed the taste will be just like grandma made."
Xiao Yao smiled and nodded. They both knew that they would never be the same. But what had been lost was lost. They were not people who like to be stuck in the past.

The two walked slowly together. Most of the time, they were all silent for a long time until they thought of something. When they did speak, it was all happy things. It's a memory that them smile. It was until the middle of the night, when they returned to their room. Everyone goes to rest. Xiao Yao thought that she might not be able to sleep. But it's not like that.  Sleeping on the bed where she slept when she was a child, she fell asleep quickly. She also slept very soundedly.

The next day, the sky was bright, so she got up. Shan Hu said that Zhuan Xu had left. Before leaving, he said that he was going to meet Haung Di(Yellow Emperor). Xiao Yao was in no hurry. She cleansed her body and ate slowly. After she finished eating, she walked out of the room. She could see the swing and the guppies tree. Shan Hu borrowed and said: “I don't know what the Prince was thinking, in the middle of the night, he did not sleep, but got up to make a swing.”

Xiao Yao framed the door, laughing, her nose feeling slightly congested. Shan Hu asked, “Princess, will you  swing?” Xiao Yao shook her head. She walked slowly. She also did not specifically go to see Zhuan Xu and Huang Di (Yellow Emperor). She just wandered around. Without realizing it, she walked to the palace residence where Grandma had slept in the past.

In front of the door stood several guards. When they saw her, neither of them made a sound to report(warning) and did not do any objections.

Chapter 15: Recapturing About The Past Is Really Painful (Thai version translated by me) Part 2

Xiao Yao walked into the room. Wang Di and Zhuan Xu were sitting and playing chess  Wang Di (Yellow Emperor) was sitting and leaning. Zhuan Xu sat up straight. But their expressions were unmistakably the same. They are emotionless and indifferent This made people unable to see what was going on in the hearts of these two men.

Xiao Yao ignored them and was still wandering around just like when she was outside. She walked and surveyed carefully as she went. In the end, she felt astonished at what she was seeing. This room had not changed much from the memories of her childhood. It's as if Grandma was still living here. Even combs and accessories Grandma used to use were still on the dressing table.

Xiao Yao sat down in front of the dressing table. She opened the jewelry box and it's shiny like new. It was as if their mistress would return and clothe them. One picked up a set of ruby hair pins.

These accessories were still shiny in an instant. But in reality even in Xiao Yao's memories, their mistress had never worn them before. Xiao Yao took out a hairpin. She  tried plugging it into her hair. This set included three chandeliers. Two of them were colored butterfly pieces. One was a pair of hairpins. And there are also six matching short and long hairpins, a bunch of red rubies  almost hangs all over the head. It was hard to imagine the simple, haggard grandmother ever wearing such dazzling, eye-catching jewelry.
“If you like it, take it.” Wang Di's(Yellow Emperor) voice suddenly sounded, causing her to put down the jewelry, and closed the box. She smiled and shook her head. “Women wear these things to get admiration, or to say it correctly, to attract men to look at her. If I wear these things, even if that man looks at me, how could I know he's looking at me, or looking at a sparkling gem that is eye-catching? If I happen to misunderstand the kindness of others and not careful in giving away my sincerity, wouldn't that lead to suffering?"
Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) was stunned for a moment. Xiao Yao looked at Haung Di(Yellow Emperor). Then she spoke in a quiet voice, as if saying that today's weather was not bad. “Grandma used to really like you very much.” Huang Di (Yellow Emperor)  stared at Xiao Yao fiercely. There was anger in the eyes.
“How can you criticize your elder relatives? "
Xiao Yao shrugged indifferently. “I am a person who likes to talk. If you don't like to listen, pretend not to hear. After all, you all already have the ability to pretend as if deaf and mute.”
Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) looked at Xiao Yao for a moment. Then he sighed and said “You even have this kind of personality, completely opposite to your mother and grandmother.”
Xiao Yao bursted out laughing, making a cheeky face at Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) “What good are they? Giving men an advantage! Making suffering for themselves!”
Haung Di(Yellow Emperor), at his wits' end, put down the chess pieces and said to Zhuan Xu, "I am not playing anymore. Are you hungry yet?" Zhuan Xu stood up humbly, supporting Haung Di(Yellow Emperor), he stood up, “Grandpa, you have been sitting for a long time. Get up and move for sometimes before eating." The two, grandfather and grandson walked slowly. Inside the wide courtyard Xiao Yao was leaning against the window. She couldn't help but thought of her mother and grandmother. At that time, mother used to support grandma as she walked around the courtyard over and over. After Zhuan Xu had supported Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) walked for many times, he gently helped Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) sat down and eat a small snack and then drank mild tea. After havibg a bit more, Haung Di (Yellow Emperor)  rinsed his mouth and wiped his hands clean, he placed a small jade sign shaped like a mulberry leaf in front of Zhuan Xu, as if he was not interested.

“Chao Yun Peak is originally belonged to your Grandma. From every tree and grass to every palace on this mountain, they all came from her hands. The first generation of royal guards Chao Yun Peak were also trained personally by her. Even though I live here, I have my own bodyguards. The bodyguards of Chao Yun Peak has always been free. Since you come back now, let them take orders from you.”

Zhuan Xu bowed to Haung Di (Yellow Emperor). Then he carefully picked up the jade token. Huang Di (Yellow Emperor) saw that he did not show any obvious expression of displeasure, still as calm and strong as before. In his eyes, there's a glint of satisfaction appeared for a moment and then disappeared.

Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) said, “I'm tired. You all go back.” Zhuan Xu and Xiao Yao saluted and retreated. The two people had come a long way. Xiao Yao whispered and asked, “Brother, are you really thinking of coming back to accompany and serve Grandpa?”

Zhuan Xu nodded.

Xiao Yao asked, as not understood. “Don't you blame him? But I still feel some blaming  towards him. So just recently, I used to verbally stab him throughout.”
Zhuan Xu replied: “Maybe because I am a man, so I can understand his various actions. Being in a position like him, he didn't do anything wrong. His choices have hurt quite a few people, including Grandma, Father, Mother, Uncle, you and me. But he had brought  happiness to many people than just seeing him as the founder of Xuan Yuan, defeating Sheng Nong, the great emperor who united Zhong Yuan. But he couldn't see the sacrifices he had to make and the pain he had to endure. Do you know when he walked with me I know that an old disease in his back has resurfaced to the point of excruciating pain. But he didn't show it at all. Every step of the way chess playing is not affected. He still is maintaining his sharp reactions and the strongest area-killing aura. Such a man, even if he wasn't my grandpa, I still respect it. But this is my grandfather. Therefore, I not only respect him. but also love and admire him.”
Xiao Yao sighed and said. “I can only say that  his people are happy. Being his closest relative brings only suffering. You are strange, he never looked good at you. Allowing the four uncles to murder you many, many times. But you still feel that he is worthy of your respect and love.”
Zhuan Xu laughed, “Xiao Yao, do you hold a grudge against those two maids? If it weren't for them saying things they shouldn't have said, you don't have to wander around, and had wandered for more than two hundred years."

“No, without those two hundred years, I wouldn't be me now. If I grow up happily beside my father, maybe I'll be very happy. But I like my current self. I am not afraid of anything at this time. Because I have experienced as having nothing before, no matter how scary the hardships are,  no matter what, I can do the same as when I killed the Nine-Tailed Demonic Fox, using my knife to cut through all those obstacles without hesitation.”
“If there were no pressure from His Majesty, Royal Uncle, I would not gone to Gao Xing alone, nor will I see another world. If it weren't for them who attacked and assassinated me again and again, I will not turn into a hypocrite, having more strength than before. Where difficulties become hardships , I can be calm. Because the people who encountered them were made to give up.But we overcame that difficulty. Then they were stepped on until they were crushed and mixed them into the body, making them our strength, so we never see difficulties as hardships. Grandpa is the same type of person as us. And because you understand well, therefore, you chose to let go.”
Xiao Yao laughed, "Ok, ok, I can't argue with you anymore, I'll be careful to not speak sarcastically to make Grandfather feel bad again."
They reached under the guppies tree. The two of them stopped in their tracks. Zhuan Xu gently caressed Xiao Yao's head. Then he shook his head and smiled, “No need, whatever your heart thinks, say it. You are his granddaughter. I think he likes being open with you. Including your anger towards him! You are not an ordinary person who can handle your wrath.”
Zhuan Xu pushed her back, sending Xiao Yao out again and again The higher the swing, the higher it goes. Xiao Yao raised her head halfway, looking at the red rain that fills the sky, falling continuously.

The person swinging on the swing was still here. The person pushing the swing was still there. The guppies' flowers were still red and hot like flames. But Xiao Yao couldn't laugh full when receiving the wind like in that time again. She could only smile a little, feel the happiness when the wind blew across her face.

Xiao Yao thought that Xuan Yuan would hold an impudent ceremony to pay homage to her mother. When Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) asked her opinion on what type of offering she planned to make, Xiao Yao replied simply, “My mother is not someone who likes to be jolly. Therefore, she naturally must not like having too many people around. But if you want to organize a ceremony I think mother will understand.”

She couldn't imagine that Haung Di (Yellow Emperor) would actually order Lin Lin to cancel the ceremony that had already been arranged. On the anniversary of Mother's death, the only people who went to pay respect were Xiao Yao and Zhuan Xu.

On the hill with beautiful wildflowers were blooming. There are six cemeteries, where grandma, grand uncle, grand aunt and daughter-in-law are buried. Second uncle, and fourth daughter-in-law and aunt, and there's also Mother. But in truth, there were at least three cemeteries without bodies. What was in Great Uncle's tomb? Xiao Yao couldn't know. All she could see were the Zhuyu flowers blooming all over the cemetery.

The eldest aunt-in-law is the eldest princess of Sheng Nong. After Shennong Province  wedge broke,  she lit herself on fire until there was nothing left. Buried in the tomb was the wedding dress she had worn when she came to Xuan Yuan for marriage. I didn't know that Uncle Rong had died. However, all I knew was that there was only a small, charred black bone left. Buried in the tomb was that bone.

Forth Uncle was Zhuan Xu's father. He died along with Prince of Sheng Nong, without leaving any corpses behind. In the cemetery there were only his clothes with fourth aunt-in-law who committed suicide. Mother died alongside with Qi Yo of Sheng Nong, also without a corpse as well. Zhuan Xu said that in the cemetery, was one of Mother's reception clothes.

Perhaps because Xiao Yao knew that there was no Mother in the tomb, she had never thought of paying respects to Mother. With a set of clothes, what should be offered to worship? In Gao Xin's Zi Xin Palace, there was still a huge chest of clothes that Mother used to wear!

However, when she and Zhuan Xu stood in front of each tomb, No matter what her conscience told her, it was just clothing. But she couldn't help but feel sad. Close relatives who sincerely love and care for her are all here! Zhuan Xu knelt down and pounded his head along each tomb. Xiao Yao followed him and also bowed at each cemetery.

When he bowed Eldest Uncle, Zhuan Xu pounded his head three more times. He looked at the Zhu Yu flowers that covered the entire cemetery and gently told Xiao Yao, “This must be Aunt Zhu Yu's transformation. She chose to destroy her own soul. When she dissolved her divine spirit, I went to live in Gao Xing. I don't know why, Master told me not to be sad. Aunt Zhu Yu got her wish. She left happily.”

Xiao Yao silently pounded her head three more times. When they had all completed their bows at the graveyard, Zhuan Xu was still on his knees, not getting up. Xiao Yao turned her back from the tomb. She sat cross-legged on the grass. She looked at the wild flowers on the hill. Flowers in various colors are blooming beautifully. Suddenly she thought of Mother. Before sending her to Yushan, she brought her and Zhuan Xu to give Grandma and Uncle a bow. She and Zhuan Xu went to pick some wild flowers. When she came back it was like searated by a sea of beautiful flowers. Mother was seen sitting alone amidst the graveyard. She suddenly felt frightened. Or at that time, she already know that  mother  won't come back again? Zhuan Xu got up and started cleaning around the cemetery.

The technique he trained was wood elemental power. The truth wax that just using magic spells, work can be done. But he refused to use it.

Xiao Yao picked up the wild flowers that Zhuan Xu had plucked, and sat on the ground, knitting them into a flower garland, waiting until Zhuan Xu finished cleaning the tomb. She soon finished six garlands of flowers. She brought each wreath of flowers and placed each of them in front of each cemetery.

They prepared to leave. Zhuan Xu said to Xiao Yao. “Accompanied me to Xuan Yuan City.”

Chapter 15: Recapturing About The Past Is Really Painful (Thai version translated by me) Part 3

Upon arriving at Xuan Yuan City, Zhuan Xu made the driver wait outside the city. He and Xiao Yao walked into the city. Zhuan Xu took Xiao Yao to a dance hall. Zhuan Xu rewarded the slave who led the way with a jade pawn. The slave's face was full of joy and took Zhuan Xu into a room decorated like a noblewoman's bedroom. Only in the middle of the room was a large empty space. I thought it was for the convenience of dancing. Zhuan Xu ordered that “I want to see Jin Xuan.”
The slave had a troubled expression on his face and said, “Miss Jin Xuan…” Juan Su gave him another jade pawn. “You just go and invite her, and whether she comes or not is up to her. The money is yours." The slave hurried away happily. Xiao Yao put on a hood to cover her face. She curled upright on the stand, watching in amazement. Zhuan Xu sat in front of the harp(zither). After trying out the sound of the harp(zither), He began to play the harp(zither). The voice is like flowing water. Suddenly, a sound like the sound of a clear fountain reverberated in the middle of the valley. Immediately, it sounded like the sound of a waterfall splashing from a cliff. The water shattered like flakes of jade.

The door was pushed open. A woman walked in sloe. She wore a yellow dress, very beautiful, and when people saw her they forgot their troubles. She sat down quietly. Listen to the sound of the harp(zither), waiting until Zhuan Xu finished playing, he said, “Pure white-furred horse. Popping back and forth like lightning. Before it should be a principle for the country. Why are you worried about happiness and not taking care of it? Travelling around, don't soil the soil. Keeping oneself hidden is a pity. Sir, you have finally returned.”
Zhuan Xu said. “I have returned.” Xiao Yao said to Zhuan Xu, “Brother, I will go out for a walk.”
Zhuan Xu nodded his head at one time. Xiao Yao opened the door and walked out. Among the thin curtains on the ground floor, a dance was being performed. Xiao Yao smiled, standing in front of the balcony railing and watching. Even the Xuan Yuan Dance Hall had both male and female guests. But in such joyful place, most of the guests are men. Even if there are women, most of them were dressed as men. Xiao Yao instead was in women's clothes, wearing a hood, making people eye-catching a lot. But now she didn't care. Others looked at her. She was looking at the beautiful woman, a dancer dancing to the music, small waist, soft neck, soft like a water snake, seducing people to the point of wanting to embrace her for a moment.
Two men opened the curtains and walked in from outside. One of them suddenly and immediately embraced the dancer. He caressed her waist once. Then he pushed her into the chest of another man. “Tonight, . let this small waist lady serve you!" This dance hall is only a place to sell the art of dancing. The dancers were all beautiful and delicate. One could look at them, but one could not spend the night with them.
In fact, the dancer's expression had turned cold. But as soon as she saw the man's face, even though she had gotten used to dealing with men and women, she still felt her face heat up and her heart beat so hard that she could no longer express her anger. She agreed to follow him.

The man smiled and hugged the dancer's waist, and took her to walk upstairs. Xiao Yao felt familiar. But because of the curtains and the corner causing her to see his face not clearly. It was until he reached the next  floor. Xiao Yao could see his face clearly. In the blink of an eye, her mouth dropped open. His face was unmistakably similar to Xiang Liu's.
But he wore a silk covering his jade hair. His hair was completely black with ink. His eyebrows and eyes all concealed a lazy smile. The whole atmosphere was completely different from the cold Xiang Liu. Xiao Yao remained silent, staring at him intently the entire time. Instead, he just glanced at her coldly. His eyes didn't stop looking at her for a moment.
The other man smiled and looked at Xiao Yao. Then he stretched out his hand and opened the hood that covered her face. “Little Miss, if you had a pretty face, Tonight I will let you stay. Be my friend.” At the side, a woman blocked him, smiling sweetly, he said “This young lady is a guest here. Young Master, don't make us suffer.” The man saw that the woman who was pulling him was unusually beautiful, so he didn't speak anymore and followed her into the room.

Jin Xuan opened the door and smiled at Xiao Yao friendlyly, “Go in, I will have someone send you all out.”

The slave sent Zhuan Xu and Xiao Yao on a quiet path out of the dance hall in the city. Zhuan Xu took Xiao Yao to walk around for a moment. Then they went to a famous restaurant. After finished eating dinner, the two then left the city, they took the cloud carriage back to Xuan Yuan Mountain.
Upon arriving at Chao Yun Residence, Xiao Yao sat down on the swing. Zhuan Xu sat leaning against a tree.
Xiao Yao's heart was filled with doubts if that person was Xiang Liu? Or not Xiang Liu?
Xiao Yao asked, “Brother, have you ever seen Xiang Liu’s true face?”
“Never, every time I see him. He was all wearing mask."
Xiaoyao asked curiously. “Xuan Yuan has been posting notices to capture Xiang Liu for hundreds of years. Why do I only see no drawings on his placards? Or has it been all these years that no one has ever seen his true face?”
“There must be those who have seen his true face. But Xiang Liu was a nine-headed demon. It is rumored that he has nine true faces and eighty-one morphs. People who have seen them give conflicting information. One time someone drew a picture of his face,  it was exactly like His Majesty, the sixth uncle without anymore.”
Or was the Xiang Liu she saw just one of his transformed forms? Xiao Yao felt like she was relieved, but also felt lonely as losing.
Zhuan Xu said curiously. “But it's strange! Since Xiang Liu's transformed body, even the magical items couldn't distinguish between real and fake. So why does he still have to wear a mask? After all, he can change his face at any time!” Xiao Yao said softly, “Perhaps he is like me. Thinking only of wanting your true self, so he doesn't care about the transformation."
Zhuan Xu asked, “Why did you suddenly mention Xiang Liu?” Xiao Yao said. "I just....thought of him." Xiao Yao didn't want to lie to Juan Su. So it tells half the truth. There was a hint of gloom in her voice, which made Zhuan Xu felt some pain, and he said in a soft voice: “You are no longer Wen Xiao Liu of Qing Shui District.”

Xiao Yao smiled slightly, “I know.” Zhuan Xu changed the topic, saying, “At the dance hall, the person who thought of uncovering your hood was your youngest son, Shi Jun. The only son of Cang Lin"
"Who is the person next to him?"
“I don't know, but he doesn't use the transfiguration technique. But....since I met you and Jing I no longer dared to be fully convinced. Because in this world there is a skill that can make fake things come true.”
Xiao Yao asked. “Is that lady Jin xuan your person?”
“I hope so. When eldest Uncle was still alive, he used to establish a large and strong news gathering organization with aunt Zhu Yu  as the control caretaker. After eldest Uncle passed away, this organization also works for you. After uncle died, even though Aunt Zhu Yu was still here, because of her personality, someone must give orders in order for it to work. When there was no one giving orders, she completely didn't know what to do. This organization therefore began to disappear. A hundred years ago, Aunt Zhu Yu took Jin Xuan and came to find me at Gao Xing. Follow the orders that Uncle gave you before going to battle. Hand over this organization to me. Jin Xuan was also a wood demon. If I were in eldest uncle position, Jin Xuan was in the same position as aunt Zhu Yu. But will she be as loyal to me as Aunt Zhu Yu is to  Eldest Uncle? I don't know. Let's just take a look slowy and see!”
“No matter what. This is the strength that belongs to you.” Xiao Yao rolled her eyes at Zhuan Xu and laughed with a mischievous expression, “Also, I am confident in your skills in dealing with women." Zhuan Xu covered her mouth with his fist, coughed softly twice, and glared at Xiao Yao. Joyfully, Yao hurriedly kept her expression, ans seriously said “Originally, I was still worried that you When you come back you will be single-minded and without strength. Now I can count on it being somewhat reliable.”

Zhuan Xu said, “Our elderly relatives have left us for a long time. But they have always protected me. Eldest Uncle was a very talented person. He not only  left this organization for me, within court, actually there are still his people. Even though there are very few people, everyone of them is great. Father, even though he left me so quickly, But I know that if there is a day when I am able control the army, the soldiers must agree to follow me. Because at that time Father truthfully was able to escape and survive, but he chose to stand in front of all the soldiers, waiting to welcome death. Lady Mother has left me with the extremely loyal Ruo Shui Clan, including aunt....”
Xiao Yao blinked and asked curiously. “Is there anything mother left for you?”
Zhuan Xu smiled and flicked one of the guppy flowers in front of Xiao Yao's face, "You, aunt left you for me." Xiao Yao kicked the guppy flowers on the ground until it flew towards Zhuan Su.
“You even dare to make fun of me!”
Zhuan Xu laughed loudly. Xiao Yao said. “But I'm afraid this won't be enough.”
Zhuan Xu said, “It is still far away. Including the secret guards I trained in Gao Xing. It is just enough to maintain life to the fullest. Now it's almost everywhere. The entire court thought that His Majesty, royal uncle might be the successor to the throne. His Majesty, royal uncle  had helped Grandpa conquer the land of Zhong Yuan, have good deeds on the battlefield, the army had soldiers who would live and die with him. He had prepared a plan. Hundreds of years ago From Zhong Yuan to Xi Pei (Northwest) Everyone has their own people. And there must be many large families like the Fang Feng Family, who had allegiance to His Royal Highness. Now what can I do? The only thing is to preserve one's life first and slowly think about the next move." Xiao Yao asked. “Do you want me to help you with something?”

Zhuan Xu laughed. “You don't know that I've been taking advantage of you all this time?” Xiao Yao said. “Try to speak in details. Let's look there's something I don't know.”

Zhuan Xu held onto the rope of the swing. “Let me think about it. There is no need to talk about the matter that the outer shell can see. In a secret way like Tu Shan Jing, he thinks about getting close to you, I give. chances so that he can get close to you. He needed to help me. If it weren't for him, how could I easily enter Feng Long's circle? Moreover, in front of Feng Long and Xing Yue. I have let them know that I have a great influence on you. When they have to evaluate me , it is necessary to count the weight of your position too. These matters seem trivial. But I was able to make the weight of the scale tilt towards me. Next, there will be more of these things, so much so that you yourself don't even feel like you've been taken advantage by me.”

Xiao Yao said. "It's still felt like I didn't do anything.”
“You have already done it. You see me as the most important person. I can take advantage of you without fear. Tu Shan Jing is not a stupid person. Situation at the moment, it was clear that His Majesty, royal uncle had an advantage. Helping me is of no use to the Tushan Family. But he knows that I am very important to you, so he doesn't  hesitate to stand beside me.”
Zhuan Xu held Xiao Yao's hand. “And although I know you don't care that your hands are to be stained with blood, I do. I don't want you to be stained with blood because of me. You just stood by my side. It is the greatest help for me.”
Xiao Yao smiled and nodded his head, “Understood.”
Because he had Xiao Yao as a friend, he didn't feel gloomy or cold at all. Zhuan Xu gently pushed the swing. He felt like the path he had to walk through was fishy and bloody. Just like this time, the two walked, enjoying the evening breeze, talking softly warmly and very relieved. In fact, he was accustomed to being cautious, and be prepared at all times. No matter whatever it was, they are all closed in the heart. But with Xiao Yao, he felt that there were no words that could not said. There was nothing that cannot be revealed. To preserve A Nian's feelings He would be a little more deliberate in being nice to A Nian, in front of Xiao Yao. Xiao Yao would not be jealous of  Xing Yue, so he could speak openly. Xiao Yao would not be surprised whether his plan was just or evil, he could say it.
Xiao Yao would not feel that he was inferior, Xiao Yao could accept all that it was him.

Chapter 15: Recapturing About The Past Is Really Painful (Thai version translated by me) Part 4

The next day, when Xiao Yao woke up, Zhuan Xu was no longer there. Xiao Yao went to find him at Haung Di's(Yellow Emperor) residence. Saw him standing behind Haung Di(Yellow Emperor). Two other younger cousin were also presented. Several nobles were reporting something to Haung Di(Yellow Emperor).
Xiao Yao waited outside.  She was about to fall asleep when they came out. Xiao Yao hid in a secret place. Zhuan Xu and them walked along while talking, until they reavhed outside. People who didn't know would think they were siblings who love each other very much. Young cousin Chui Liang was the second son of Seventh Uncle Yu Yang. He spoke to Zhuan Xu and another cousin Shi Jun. “Tomorrow at my house will be having a dinner party, big brother and little brother, you they have no other busines, I invite you to honor me and join me.”
Shi Jun laughed loudly, “Third Brother, you know my personality. I just want a beautiful woman. If you don't invite me, I'll definitely go.”
Xiao Yao walked over and gave Juan Su a look. Juan Su laughed back and said. “Is there any delicious liquor? I just want delicious liquor. I will definitely go.”
Xiao Yao didn't know what to do. She could only pretend to ask out of curiosity. “There's something fun. Why don't you invite me too?"

Chui Liang sat and stared at Xiao Yao. Shi Jun suddenly jerked his arm violently, so he was back to consciousness. He saluted to Xiao Yao along with  cousin Shi Jun. Xiao Yao told them not to be too formal. Chui Liang smiled and said. “If you, big sister wants to go, you are always welcome.” But he would have to prepare a new plan again.
Waited until Shi Jun and Chui Liang had left, Xiao Yao then asked. “Can't you see that I'm signaling you not to accept?”
Zhuan Xu smiled and said, “I see, but I want to get a little closer to them. Understanding them better isn't a bad thing. Right now, they are the lords of Xuan Yuan City. I have just arrived. If I act defensive, in the eyes of outsiders it turns out that I don't know what is good or bad.”
Xiao Yao said. “You have just arrived in Xuan Yuan City, and haven't been able to stand firmly yet. This is the best chance to get rid of you. They would definitely not have the courage to set foot on Chao Yun Peak. But  after leaving Chao Yun Peak, it is their place."
Zhuan Xu said. “Without going through the thorns and climbing up the cliff, how to reach the top of the cliff? I'm not afraid. Why are you afraid?”
Xiao Yao rubbed his chest and said, “I don't know, I feel....but it's unlikely.”
"What do you plan to say?"
"Anyway, I will go with you."
Zhuan Xu smiled and said. "I have no opinion."
The next evening Zhuan Xu and Xiao Yao went to Chui Liang's mansion. Because it was a private party, there were not many guests, but they were all young men, good looking and talented, and were famous throughout Xuan Yuan Country. They treated Zhuan Xu with polite manners, but the truth was that he was visible in their eyes.

Xiao Yao couldn't help sighing. It seemed that the path that Zhuan Xu desired was truly a cliff full of thorns.
After waiting until the party had started, Seventh Uncle's eldest son, Yi Hao had just arrived. He even brought along the most famous person in Da Huang these days... Yu Qiang. A person from the Xi Hea Clan, one of Gao Xing's four major clans. He had just won Shui Chui Seasonal Festival competition that Little Zhu Rong had created. Everyone saw Yu Qiang. They all got up and gave a warm welcome.
Yi Hao stood beside Yu Qiang with satisfactort while introducing Yu Qiang to everyone.
When Xiao Yao arrived, she told Chui Liang not to reveal her true status. She would be able to play and had fun without any strings attached. Right now, she naturally didn't want to get to know Yu Qiang. She took a walk in the garden as she liked and saw a man similar to the one Xiang Liu that she had met at the dance hall. He was taking the liquor and sitting down, reclining comfortably on a jade chair. Surrounding him were shadows of trees. Dark gloomy shadows .If one weren't paying attention, it would be hard to see him. Xiao Yao strode over, standing behind him without letting him know. She leaned down and said, “Xiang Liu, what are you doing here?”
The man didn't move his body at all. He just lift his head up a little. “You walked quietly behind me. All the time I was guessing what you were thinking about doing to the point of having some distracted thoughts. I didn't think you would remember the person. wrong"
Xiao Yao stared into his eyes steadily. She bursted out laughing.
"I'm starting to think I want to be the person you misremembered." The occult bug in her body did not have any reaction, so she was beginning to be puzzled. “Are you really not him?”
“If you can drink alcohol, be my friend, I will be a substitute of him whatever matters!"
Xiao Yao smiled sweetly and said, “Sure!”
He poured a cup of liquor for Xiao Yao. She drank the whole cup in one go. Then she poured him a cup of liquor. He, too, drank the whole cup in one go. In blink of an eye, the cup in his hand fell. He smiled smugly. “You poisoned me?”
Xiao Yao held up his hand, carefully rubbed his nails. The tips of his nails had red spots. It shows that he really haf been poisoned. He sighed and said, “If you hadn't poisoned me, I must think that I am very fortunate.”
Xiao Yao pick up his hand and pour him a cup of liquor. “This is the antidote.” He weakly raised his hand. He clearly could not lift the cup of liquor by himself.  Xiao Yao fed it to him to drink. Xiao Yao said, “Sorry, I remembered the wrong person."
“Every time you recognize the wrong person, you end up poisoning them? This habit is not good at all!”
Xiao Yao said again, “Sorry,” then turned and prepared to walk out. Instead, he held her wrist. “With one word of apology, are you thinking of leaving?”
"Then what do you plan to do?"
“I am Fang Feng Bei.” The man wrote his name one line at a time on Xiao Yao's palm, “Remember it, so next time you don't regconize the wrong person.”
“You and Fang Feng Yi Yang..."
“I am her second elder brother. Do you know the youngest sister?”
Xiao Yao forced a smile and said. “Da Huang is so small!” Xiaoyao walked away. This time, Fang Feng Bei did not pull her back again.

Some people were enjoying the dancing, some were drinking and chatting. Many young ladies were playing in the pavilion. Zhuan Xu was with Shi Jun, but it was unknown what they were discussing. They laughed loudly from time to time. Xiao Yao found a quiet corner and sat down.
All that showed that Fang Feng Bei was not Xiang Liu. Many people knew Fang Feng Bei, a descendent of an aristocratic family. Xiang Liu could not possibly impersonate him. However, Xiao Yao still felt very familiar with him. This sense of familiarity could not be rationally explained. She could not put it into words, but it was a feeling that the body's instincts recognized.
It was very late. The guests left one after another. Perhaps because Zhuan Xu had lived in Gao Xing for more than two hundred years, Yu Qiang and Zhuan Xu could nautrally enjoy their disccusion. They spoke  until all the guests were gone. Escorted by Chui Liang and Yi Hao, Zhuan Xu and Yu Qiang walked out together.
Xiao Yao waited for Zhuan Xu next to the cloud carriage. Zhuan Xu and Yu Qiang stood still in front of the door, laughing and talking. If the person standing next to Zhuan Xu was Fang Feng Bei, Xiao Yao would have to be fully prepared. However, Yu Qiang came from the Xi Hea Tribe, one of the four tribes of Gao Xing, and their tribe was the most loyal to the puppets. Therefore, Xiao Yao was not very vigilant. She waited until she was bored and looked around. She caught sight of Fang Feng Bei on his "Heavenly Steed" at the end of the street. It was very dark, and one could not really see who was riding the Heavenly Steed. However, Xiao Yao knew instinctively that he was there. Xiao Yao narrowed her eyes and looked far down the street. The descendants of the Fang Feng family must be quite good at archery. Suddenly, the wild instincts in her body made her tense. She looked in the direction of the danger. She instinctively felt and saw Yu Qiang make a sudden move. He struck a fierce blow at Zhuan Xu. Zhuan Xu quickly left backed away, but Yu Qiang was one of the top experts in Da Haung (the Great Wilderness.)

Heavenly steed: A strange creature that can fly in Chinese Myth.

Zhuan Xu was managed to dodge it,so that  it did not hit at his vital parts. Yu Qiang did not wait for him to rest and unleashed a flurry of punches at Zhuan Xu like a madman. Every punch was infused with a strong spiritual power. The radius of the punches was like a wave that exploded, causing the stone lion in front of the gate to shatter into powder. For the first time, they knew that the softest water could transform into something extremely hard. Xiao Yao shouted out in shock, "Bodyguards! Bodyguards!" but not a single bodyguard rushed in. Chui Liang and Yi Hao were knocked unconscious by Yu Qiang's spiritual power. Shi Jun was so frightened that he hid under the cloud carriage, trembling.
For the first time, Xiao Yao understood that in the face of such a strong force, no plan would work. At this moment, no matter how ingenious a plan she and Xhuan Xu had, only a stronger force could save Zhuan Xu. Zhuan Xu was badly injured and fell to the ground. Yu Qiang grabbed Zhuan Xu and his eyes were filled with resentment. He turned water into a sword and swung it, intending to cut off Zhuan Xu's head.
Xiao Yao knew that with her power, even if she rushed in, she would only be crushed into powder by Yu Qiang's water wave. However, she still rushed in without hesitation. She shouted in a fierce voice, "Yu Qiang, do you want Xi Hea tribe to fall because of you?"
Yu Qiang's sword slowed down. "This is something I did alone. It has nothing to do with... Xi Hea tribe!"
"I am the princess of Gao Xing. If I say it's related, then it's related!" Xiao Yao stood in front of Yu Qiang, her eyes filled with a cruel and cold ruthlessness that could destroy everything.

"You are a princess of Gao Xing, yet to protect an outsider, you will destroy the Si Hea tribe?"
"And what about you? You colluded with outsiders to assassinate Zhuan Xu and about bring a disaster to destroy your own tribe!"
Yu Qian roared, "I did not collude with outsiders. He murdered my elder brother, and I will avenge him!" Yu Qian's magical powers struck Xiao Yao, sending her to fly off. Xiao Yao fell heavily to the ground, coughing up mouthfuls of fresh blood. Yu Qian slashed his sword at Zhuan Xu , and was blinded to everything else.
"He took my elder brother's head, so I will take his head as a sacrifice to my elder brother."
Xiao Yao cried out in agony, "Stop!"
Yu Qian did not stop. His sword swung toward Zhaun Xu without hesitation.
Xiao Yao's heart shattered, but Zhuan Xu suddenly smiled calmly. A bone-chilling cold arose. The water magic surrounding Yu Qian and the Su Palace turned into ice vapor. Yu Qian's water sword transformed into an ice sword. When he swung it at Zhuan Xu's neck, it resembled a snowball thrown at a person. Even when it hit, it remained a snowball. As it shattered, it became snowflakes.Yu Qian's eyes turned blood-red, and he was about to attack again when an ice wall blocked his path. Chi Sui Xian, dressed in green, emerged from the snowflakes falling from the sky. Her voice was icy cold. "If you want to fight, let us change locations."
Yu Qian's face was filled with resentment. He was more heartbroken than hurt."Why? You know he murdered my elder brother, so why do you obstruct me?"
Chi Sui Xian was as cold as a block of ice. "Wait until you defeat me. Then, perhaps I will tell you why."With that, she dashed toward a certain temple. Yu Qian knew that with Chi Sui Xian present, he would not be able to kill Zhuan Xu. Therefore, he followed Sui Xian in pursuit.

As Zhuan Xu was struggling to stand up, Xiao Yao suddenly shouted, "Don't move!"She opened her arms and stood in front of Zhuan Xu, facing the dark void, and backed away step by step.
Now Xuan Zhu understood and whispered, "The Fang Feng family?"
Xiao Yao's entire body was tense, like a female animal protecting her young, and she stared at the empty space with rage. She could not see him, but she could perceived his presence there. That bow and arrow could pierced Xuan Zhu's throat at any moment.
At that moment, the guards who had been following Xuan Zhu finally broke through the magic barrier and rushed in, protecting Zhuan Xu.
That person was gone!
Xiao Yao slowly exhaled, her body relaxed, and she almost collapsed to the ground. The brief confrontation just now had caused her more pain than being thrown away by Yu Qiang.
Zhuan Xu staggered and held Xiao Yao up. Xiao Yao took his hand and tried to climb onto the cloud carriage without saying a word. Xuan Zhu followed Xiao Yao onto the cloud carriage and sat down beside her.
Xiao Yao firstly took a pill and then helped to check Xuan Zhu's injuries. She handed Xuan Zhu three pills, and Zhuan Zhu swallowed them without asking any questions.
Xiao Yao said, "Tonight, there is a guest at Chui Liang's house, the same man who was with Shi Jun that day. His name is Fang Feng Bei."
