I don't know thought in 1st ep they tried to show daughter -father in se*ual relationship.NOO IT DOESN'T .It clearly shows that you didn't understand 1st episode. ? It wasn't about father - daughter. It was about DOONA & IU.
While it was clearly weird way to show lgbtq+ character like that. in some ways weird so mean artistic. That episode had deeper meaning than it shows but clearly they did mess up as the story /episode was something most viewers couldn't understand or found it weird.
It's basically a teenager who is kind of in love with her English teacher, didn't want her to marry her father. Because she will turn into her stepmom which she clearly doesn't want to happen. She was desperate to win the bet that she couldn't even feel the bleeding pain. the constant moaning confirms that. That part was very long and kind of creating/hinting se*ual tension between them .+ Unnecessary zoom on their body parts. Then the main tennis "ball" giving scene. Where Doona slightly brush her fingers was biggest hint . The extra focus on that simple thing. Clears what was actually going on.
